awesome tour ! omgoshhhh can we talk about how epic the water looks! you guys ever take a break from the boat tours/fishing and just say "lets just jump in for a while" lol. sickkkkk video
A few of the Cat builders (Insetta and I think HammerCat) actually tilt the tops of the outboards _IN_ just a few degrees. This does a couple of things, it gets the props slightly out of the dead space directly behind the hulls, and it helps to give the "banking" effect that everyone is familiar with in a mono-hull during a turn. Thank you for the review ladies, and Kona was being SUCH a good girl on that run!
Nice video. I live on an island that very often has quite high seas. What kind of waves where you guys in? I often have 5-6m between the ridge and the valley. Could this cat handle that?
Hi Amanda and Emily. I noticed in a few videos you said that when you trim up the boat goes faster. I am definately not an expert but I thought it was the other way around, trimming down allows the boat to sit flatter and hence less of a profile in the water. Either way i thought if you guys wanted to do video compairing the results of both trim up and trim down it would be interesting. Thanks for the awesome content!
Trimming up means trimming the motors higher. When on plane with the motors trimmed up more of the boat will also come out of the water allowing the boat to go faster since there’s less resistance/boat in the water!
Once you go Cat you never go back😄 Love mine, but its only a 24'. I would consider this if I had a place to dock it. For the time being I'm trailering mine.
@@chevy4x466 Not really. It has guides in the middle of the trailer that the boat straddles. Pretty simple. A lot easier to trailer than my last boat, which was a Robalo 302.
Hello Amanda and Emily. When I came across your channel I thought I knew you. My name is Robert Gale. You both (duh) have a very strong resemblance to me cousin. I was born in Chicago in 1948. My fraternal grandparents were Harvey and Goldie Gale. The had four children. Ann, Al, Jack and Irv who were twins. As I said you look so much like other cousins I have seen. If I am wrong excuse me. However, I enjoy your channel.
Hello Gale Force Twins. I am new to your channel. Thank you for the informative videos. I have a question about navigation. I recently retired and now planning to sail around the Caribbean and coastal waterways in the USA starting about a year from now. I am in the planning stages and looking for charts and software with detailed information about all the cays and little islands throughout the Caribbean. What would you recommend as the best charts and software for navigation? Any feedback you can give would be most appreciated. Best wishes.
Let me give you a tip: never trust even the most up to date charts as things always change. So when in shallow areas always be on the look out & have a good dept finder & a backup.
I was looking for the first Freeman commenter. It could be a invincible bathtub and someone would ask if Freeman makes a better bathtub. Not being too critical and I could care less about either boat. I saw a video where a freeman was piled up on some rocks and just grinding away with every wave slapping it on the jetty. That was one tough boat hull. On the other hand some kind of steering system failure put it there. But this is a video about the invincible 33. Seems like a great boat.
@@alquinn3562 Plus you have to get on a 2+ year wait list for a Freeman AND almost double the final bill! That Freeman on the Haulover rocks was WELL over a megabuck
yeah 5 people died in Savannah last weekend head on boat collision. Very strange a Army pilot instructor was onboard too. During the day light I do not know why somebody did not shout out there is a boat in our path.
Next time it would be cool to know the following. What speed does it get on plane? How feel efficient is it at trolling speed and at best cruise speed?
Cool video ... Thats a top tier sportfishing catamaran. A person probably could buy a home in the Keys for what it costs 😆 . Thank you for sharing the dream experience with us .
Great video, don’t listen to the noise, the very first video I saw from you two was how to turn a boat in tight channels and docking….. I agree with others all three (boating, fishing, cooking) videos are great, keep it up!
Love the video ladies God bless 🙏 y'all. Say will y'all please go show some of the crazy. People at haullover inlet how to drive their. Boat's they need y'all's help badly. I would love to watch the two of you go through there. And listen to the crowd cheer for y'all's ability to handle. The waves coming at your boat. Thank y'all
