Great interview! Btw actually the majority of atheists are also agnostics because theism/atheism is about what you believe, and gnosticism/agnosticism is about what you know (gnosis meaning Knowledge). I don't know for sure whether a higher power could or does exist, but because i see no evidence I also don't believe in god(s), so I am both an agnostic and an atheist. Some theists are also humble enough to be agnostic as well, they may say that they don't have full knowledge of what God is but they choose to believe. I think that atheists who strongly assert that they KNOW there is no god do exist, but I have yet to meet one in real life, or even hear from any noteworthy atheist thinkers who claim that.
