@@brndto depends on if he has the GSR (manual) or the MR (DCT). Their stock DCT's can't handle much extra power (count on scrapping them at anything over 400hp). Edit: I rewatched the video and it's most likely a GSR, or at least a manual swapped MR. The shifting was too slow to be a DCT, but on the fast side for a manual.
What boost level is the BMW at? A properly tuned and fueled Pure S2 N54 car should be making mid 500's at least if it's boosting properly. Bet it's on sub 20 psi. Evo played a song by the Gap Band for sure. lol
Good shit. Those turbos are very good. A close friend runs pump gas with water meth injection and makes just shy of 600 wheel on 26 psi. N54 5-series with a manual.
Drew Meadors What? Rephrase that. I can’t understand what you meant by it. N54’s don’t need dyno tuning to put down effective horsepower. Most use MHD backend flashing in unison with a JB4 for safety parameters and water/meth injection control. Not much custom tuning, just choosing a flash from a list.
Drew Meadors My friend is on 4psi more boost and water/meth injection. His car is night and day faster than the 335i in the video above. His car was flash tuned as simply as I described it above. He dyno’d it to know how much power his new setup made.
Even max psi pure stage 2 is not giving u over 700hp in that bmw...that evo has an 8374 single once its spools that shit is gonna freight train...if bmw had the single from doc maybe ...but that evo is quick af

whats funny people talk so much smack about evos and subarus but a evo and subaru are both 4 cylinders and 2.0 and 2.5 when the 335i and mustangs are 3.0 and 5.0 v6s and v8s and they still get beat

I’m biased, but totally agree. I hate the rear but the front is mean af. The capabilities on just a stock block are quite impressive. My car took 32psi on stock block until 100k miles before a rod let go

EFR 8374 evo x can easily push 650-700whp. With a good driver, that is easily a low 10s car, possibly even high 9s. I can already tell you're a bmw fanboy, but I am sure you never wonder why you never see your stage 2 m3 at events like tx2k but you'll see evos and every other power maker. The 335i with an n54 and the evo x are lightyears ahead of an f82 m3 in terms of being a modding platform. My x has a fully built 2.2/shep trans with a 67mm and spray. I've lost to cars, but i've yet to even have an m3 or m4 look in my general direction. If anything, evo owners are shitting on bmw ego problems daily.
I sold one of my evos for 21k with 120k miles. Both cars are head turners and rare. I promise your m3 wont shit my evo. cosworth built 2.2 with 2200cc injectors and twin pumps, sleeved, shep trans, ohlins, 10pt cage, stoptech bbk, nitrous to spool the turbo faster. Its a completely built track car. So go ahead and pick a track, i'll be waiting to get shit on. I use to sell bmws for a living, from old school, to n54/55 and the newer f82s+. My buddy just shot a rod out of his at the track. The fact that all you can say is your m3 turns heads and would shit on people, says enough. My cosworth 2.2 is probably worth more than your m3.
Bro!!! My 2014 Evo X GSR is slow as fuck! Bone stock of course. How much did all those mods cost and how reliable is it? I just test drove a 2018 Dodge Charger scat pack. Contemplating a Daytona. Debating between trading in my evo x or my 2012 mustang gt. Evo is hella fun on the corners but in the straight, I’m getting murdered by every v8 out there, including my own 5.0.
