Whats coming up in 2020 for Jumble Lane, a brief explanation of some of the ideas I have for the layout. Also let me know what you think I should do, you never know, your ideas may be used on the layout.
Plus, a short running session of my new Sutton Locomotive Works Class 24 in test livery, sounds great I think you will agree.

always nice to have a list of things to do. then the real task is not to loose the list. lol nice little run video clips at the end

Hi Geoff Interesting to hear what you are planning, I do the same myself but my plans never ever go as I intend and it always ends up being different, usually down to time. I had a year to play trains last year and it certainly made me realise some of the bits of the layout that don't work quite right and how much fun it can be just watching the trains. Doing some hard standing for the depot will definitely look better. I look forward to seeing your future progress. Lovely class 24... Cheers Paul

Thanks Paul, yes playing and watching trains is great fun. It certainly helps trying them on the layout to find the weak parts and de-railing places.

That's what it's all about for me, with my lad taking a bit of an interest in trains I'm also trying to get him a layout set up... Double the trouble 😉👍

To be very honest, think of a highly detailed Bachmann or Hornby, add a factory fitted sound decoder, you will spend about £275 for a decent model and that's just decent. Add whatever they think they can get away with for a stay-alive, not just an ordinary one but a super capacitor one. Now this model was £308 to include all of that and a very nice metal presentation box, AND delivery is included! I cannot see me being charged more for something that others would get less for the same price. Well worth the money.

Very nice that Class 24 from Sutton ! I am not a weathering person but your buffers are nicely done, did it come like that ? I have a blue 24009 from SLW but the buffers don't have that black spot in the middle. It sounds quite similar to yours. You can watch it on my channel. Cheers, Jan
