@toltecmerc, Awesome work! I love the content. I'm currently dealing with a strange PS4 Pro issue. I get a blue light for 1 second when powered on with power button. If I short the pins 2 & 4 of the PSU connector, the PS4 boots properly. It will also shutdown and reboot properly with the wireless controller. If I attempt to boot it with the front panel power button, I get the 1 second blue light then shutdown issue. Does this sound like an issue with the main board not passing the "boot" command to the PSU, or do you think it's a PSU problem?
Hi, friend. I have a big problem with this ps4 fat sac001. It is flashing blue light, it does not show anything through the uart port, I have changed the south bridge and it remains the same, I have also changed the RT5069A start regulator because I am missing 3.3V in the capacitor that I sent in the photo. Could you help me? I can't get it to show anything through uart and it is essential to know what type of damage it has.
How would anybody know that before watching? The retrofitting of the new IC is probably the most easy step, given that it uses leaded solder after the change.
