My final outing of 2023 brought me back to familiar territory with Steam Dreams once again running their Santa Steam Express circulars.
Four services would run each day, with the train starting from London Victoria, diesel hauled, to Willesden via Kensington Olympia. The train would then reverse, and be steam hauled by 34046 Braunton back to Victoria via South Acton & Chiswick.
A somewhat mixed outing firstly catches Braunton being brought to a near stand at South Acton before eventually opening up on the second shuttle of the day. This is then followed by the arrival into Victoria before departure of the third shuttle. The final two shots come from Chiswick and Barnes Bridge on the third and fourth shuttles respectively, although the clips have been edited to look like it's the same train.
