34067 Tangmere with The Settle & Carlisle Steam Special (The Northern Belle) from Carnforth to Carlisle over the West Coast Mainline and returning over the Settle & Carlisle line to Preston (via Hellifield and Blackburn) on Saturday 6th April 2024. The tour started and finished diesel top and tailed with 57313 Scarborough Castle and 57601 Windsor Castle at York.
My apologies for the affect Storm Kathleen had on both the sound and image (shakes and raindrops).
Steam came on at Carnforth and off at Preston from where the train headed back to York with the two diesels.
The train is seen passing Greenholme and Scout Green on the West Coast Mainline on the outward leg and then at Ais Gill on the return via the S&C. 57313 Scarborough Castle was on the rear during the steam hauled section of the trip.

Nice one Chris, a far from ideal day with Storm Kathleen blowing in and warm with it, two challenging locations mastered as best you could under those conditions so well done, cheers nige👍

Very nice Chris, can’t help the conditions so you did well considering. You can really see the 1 in 75 as it passed Scout Green. The wind in the afternoon was horrendously strong so always going to be hard to capture decent sound as I found out myself ☹️
