4141. Defends in a 7 if you have lm/rm come back on defence and it also attacks in a 5 leaving 5 back to stop counter attacks, you can dominate midfield as well.

@@hanselhau3169 it changes depending on how much I concentrate 😂 Defensive ones are 37 45 if I’m being defensive. 45 72 if I’m bossing the game. And I always keep attacking width between 45-55

I play this formation for a while now and also defend in a 442. However, a bit different. I put the striker on Come back, so that the two CF (or LF and RF) are my both strikers. That also works great😂. But thanks for the video, I will give this a try👍.

On another note, that gap between the CBs and CMs in defensive mode is what keeps throwing me off with this tactic, whenever I try to adjust manually the CMs and pressure with them, the soon I switch off they start walking forward and kinda leaving the game for a short period

Use 3-5-2 instead, thats why I was saying the big issue is really just then difference between back line and CDMS they are CMS here so they sit further, do bear that in mind

Now I know where people got the formation from. I’ve been playing too many people using this formation. Though I use the 4-2-2-2 and I break this formation easily. Way too easy. As I make my fullbacks go forward and end up attacking with 6 players and the AI isn’t able to coveur all attacking players. You have to be really good defensively to use this formation or play long ball 30 depth and make your players come back on defense or leave them balance to force the AI to make them comeback.

That swap of runs between Neymar and Rodrygo ..why have them" swap runs " instead of just switching their playing positions to minimize that switch that leaves gaps during transitions...I mean is it really worth it or what's the catch.. Kindly asking

You need to offload a wide player to keep the back 4 shape, otherwise there would be confusion and it resorts to a back 5 by default

If you struggle with defending and building up, I wouldnt use this formation, as I said in the video, be careful on counter attacks, if you are really scared then you can change it, but as long as you understand how the formation would you will be fine

@@MasudShorif PAPL is "Press After Possession Loss" which is the defensive tactic he mentioned in the video. Try switching it to "Balanced" if defending in this formation is an issue for you.
