# 345 - NEW - Paint Mixing Tutorial for 3 Different Floetrols | Acrylic Pouring | Art Demo 

Hi everyone - I hope you all find this video helpful. I can’t believe how long it took me to do this from beginning to end! Wowzers lol 😜

Thank you so much for testing the UK Owatrol, I felt the Ausi Floetrol was the missing link to my painting disasters. Now I know I was just mixing my Owatrol and paints all wrong. I just love everything that you do but especially thank you for helping and educating us here in the UK. 😘

As soon as you finished the 1st canvas I said out loud, “ That’s bleep’in Gorgeous!” I love the soft flow of the American/Canadian Flood the best but these all look Amazing 🤩 in their own right. Thanks so much for all your hard work and showing us all the differences!!! It’s appreciated & the colors we perfect!

Kanella, this is a great video. In addition to the obvious differences in the floetrol, the biggest take away for me is the importance with knowing the consistency to be able to predict the results. My favorite was the Owetrol, then American the. Australian. But the Aussie one would work well when you wanted cells but didn’t want to mess with silicone? After drying I think I choose the American one because of the softness and colors appear to be richer. Thank you for taking the time. Has explained many details.

The edges are more defined. Has a flames like look, and American/Canadian floetrol looks soft like a river ;)

I like the American/Canadian Floetrol the most. Then the Owatrol then the Australian . I like the soft edges and not so many cells. Thank you for all the work you did to make the comparison happen. You are so entertaining and I love your tutorials!!

I really love the effects you get with American Floetrol, and seeing your results from our Aussie Floetrol, and the Artist Loft issues you have been having, has shown me that the products are why my Dutch Pours never turn out the way that I would like them to. (I am not happy with the riot of cells and lacing that I keep getting.) I love that you have given us the consistency ratios in products that we have access to. Using that consistency as a base, I can work on reducing the amount of Aussie Floetrol, in favour of water, to calm down the cell action, and hopefully achieve a result closer to your American Floetrol results. I am so excited! Thank you so very much for all you do for us!

Thanks for this, I use Aussie Floetrol, I've never had that amount of cells, even tried Amsterdam Titanium white as a base and didn't have that amount of tiny cells, out of all the base paints I prefer Liquitex Basics Titanium White. But I also add water to the paint, not all get the same amount of water though.

I'm in the UK and so the easiest one to get is the Owetrol but I've just bought a gallon of USA floetrol which I can't wait to get to try. Love you Kanella! I feel your pain. I swear, I heard a few of my teacher lines. I am forever repeating myself because my students don't listen and sometimes they have their hand up and ask a question I literally just answered, but they were too busy thinking about their question to pay attention to what I'm saying. It is the bane of my existence! 😂😂 However, I still love my job and it's amazing showing people how to make beautiful things and seeing them make their own interpretations. Thanks for taking the time to test/compare these products. I agree with you that the Australian Flintridge has too many bubbles, however the colors seem to be more intense/vibrant. The Oetrol is also more vibrant colorwise. Personally I prefer the Flood floetrol because of familiarity and availability. Thank you for your time and teachings.

OMGOODNESS! … look at the first one the floetrol! … it is a perfect moose head right in the middle … SO CANADIAN 🇨🇦💕 luv it ! … interesting experiment girl … I think my fav is the first one as well .. mostly cuz of the composition (the moose head)
