19:15 Antonín Čermák, also Anton Cermak, Tony Cermak, (May 9, 1873 Kladno [1] - March 6, 1933 Miami, USA) was an American businessman and politician (mayor of Chicago) of Czech origin. On February 15, 1933, he was severely wounded in an assassin during President Roosevelt's visit, and later died as a result of his injuries. cs.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anton%C3%ADn_%C4%8Cerm%C3%A1k Antonín Čermák was born on May 9, 1873 in Kladno. Due to the crisis in 1873, when the Vienna Stock Exchange collapsed, his family, like hundreds of other Czech families, moved to the USA, where his father Antonín was looking for a miner. This step was very uncertain, but Čermák relied on the help of Czech immigrants who moved to America a little earlier. However, at the very beginning of their American life, complications arose because their father did not settle in Chicago, where a large Czech minority lived, and so they moved with their family to the mining town of Braidwood, less than 100 km from Chicago, where their father worked as a miner again. His son soon joined the father, who began working at a young age (15) also in the mine, where he provided mining transport. However, this work did not suit him, which is why Antonín spent most of his free time in education. His aversion to this work culminated in 1889, when he demanded, on behalf of all workers in his department, an increase in their wages, working only for a dollar and ten cents a day. Of course, the leader didn't like his impudence, so he fired him immediately. Years later, however, he thanked the man who had done so, and also emphasized that working in the mines had strengthened him and strengthened his love of work and the people.

I am so thrilled that an individual / home video edition of this streaming has been put online. $300 is, rightfully, for the unis that want to show this to students and such. $20 is something I'd totally pay for this. !!!
