I have not done any major pouring yet. I have just been messing around with a kit I bought. I have learnt so much from you. Thank you. Blessing and Merry Christmas
I'm in love with the cross! Everything came out beautiful! Watching you has inspired me to try my had at resin in the new year and your attention to detail will always remain forefront in ky mind. Thank you for sharing! 💞
Thank you for showing how you problem solve. I tried my first two major projects. I realized I can fix the glitches with UV resin and it won’t be a total loss.
As always, everything looks beautiful! Thanks for the UV top coat note!! 😉 I ended up putting a nail polish gel coat on top of my butterflies to top coat them, but I'll try using my finger with a UV coat next time I need to.
I love the cross, so adorable! 😍 On objects that have curved edges, I have used a paint brush to spread the resin. It was fun to watch the bookmark changing as you did the pendants. The blue pendants will look great with jeans! 👖 😍
I would definitely use both every day if I had two. I love doing my resin crafts and have done everything from coasters and trays right on down to baby Yoda
I loved the cross! All the bonus bits are cute too! ❤ I’ve never had much luck with bookmarks made with epoxy. They tend to warp. If there’s a good tip I would much appreciate it. 😊
They need to cure at least a week or longer if only one layer of resin. I usually always topcoat them and they are solid when the top coat is dry. It does make them thicker though. You can topcoat with UV resin as well.
These are beautiful! I saw Daniel Cooper do an experiment to keep glitter from sinking that seems to work well, he adds a teeny bit of clear Elmers glue to the resin, like tip of toothpick teeny, until the resin gets a hair gel consistency. The glitter is all mixed in when he adds it, then in the molds it seems to stay pretty much suspended. I would love to see an experiment like that with Heaven as the glitter used, to see if a mix of glitter like that will stay suspended in the resin.
The cross is thick because it was made for freshies. It's not a resin mold, that's why it's matte. I was going to try making car freshies, that's the only reason I know 😆 Have a blessed day 🙏
