If you don’t want to hot glue the pillow, I’ve actually used just one placemat and use a seam ripper to take out the seam on one end. Open it up and stuff it and then I hand sew the end shut. I love them have used them for 4 or 5 years no problem.

Wooden trees: update with your favorite brass paint on the interior to make it sparkle but still minimal or add a simple bow or star at the top or line the interior with fairy lights.
Great ideas!! Loved the advent activity calendar. Re: wood trees which you stained. You wanted an idea to add a little more to brighten them. How about you paint a gold stripe down one front of the triangle or use gold leaf. I hope you feel better.

For the stained wooden Christmas tree idea, I would put a tear drop crystal or a small glass star of some sort and have it dangle so light will catch it. /°\ #youareamazing
@@FiaGarciaDIY my granddaughter had the same thing… I just knew I’d catch it but so far I haven’t. The best thing I’ve used when getting a cold & loosing my voice is a mixture of honey, lemon juice & whiskey it’s an old remedy but a great one! Just get a small trial bottle of whiskey put 4tbsp or more of honey and a few drops of lemon mix well then take about 2 tbsp and you’ll be better by morning. I swear by it. Helps you sleep too.
