Thank you sir for this lesson. Our women Bible Study group will be discussing this exact passage on 1st Saturday of 2024!! Shalom to our presbyterian brethren- from a reformed baptist!
Hi Bruce, I have been watching your content for the last 6 months and the way you teach is so good. With it being Thanksgiving season I want you to know that I am super thankful for you.
Amen and Amen. Thank you, Lord, for your inspired word. Continue to bless your mission in Bruce Gore. We love you Lord as much as we love Bruce Gore. Bless his wife the silent but hard-working voice in all this and his other family and gift them with all their heart desires according to your will. In Christ's name, we pray Amen
there had to be a "time" where there was only the Father but not in our existence of time. Our existence of time The Word was in the beginning with God and the Word (Jesus) was God. So what about the this "time" before creation such as when God had predestined those whom it pleased Him to predestined to be saved? again, the question is about the time when there was no Son of God i'm not asking about the time when Jesus was with the Father(our creation) i'm asking about the time when Jesus was not with the Father: the only begotten Son of the Father? who can answer this question or is the question itself blasphemy: we don't question God we simply accept what is?
We are creatures that live in space and time. Space and time are themselves creations of God, who lives outside of space and time. We find that hard to imagine, precisely because we are spatial / temporal beings. It's not blasphemy to ask the question, but it is arrogant to think that our inability to understand something is an argument that it cannot be the case.
