They ARE weird, they’re interesting and strange and odd. They simply aren’t typical. The way he phrased it was a little less polite than ‘unique’, but you can tell that’s the way he’s using it. He’s not wrong, these products aren’t normal - and ‘not normal’ is all ‘weird’ is.
@@jennybeannn He totally says it to get engagement. It's just annoying for those of us who love and respect Japanese stationery. It deserves so much more respect than being called "weird".
@@junicornplays980chill out. Words can convey different meanings and can be interpreted differently depending on the context. So, if he's just using that word, it doesn't necessarily mean that he means it in a negative way.
That's why I love stationery. It soothes you and brings you joy when you know how to appreciate each item for its design, functionality and the beauty that brings you to your work. Good video. 👏

@16:29...im still waiting to see that paper wrist band...over 30 years ago my son made one for himself as he played American football & needed it to help him learn his plays. Thats why imhere, im beginning to think its NOT going to appear!! 😢
Jesus Christ! This is like 10x the quality of stuff even in Europe! I hate vegetables but i want that book, a foto with the guy that made it and his Business Card so i can send him a Christmas Gift!
