I've got an HKS rep H-pipe to Magnaflow Resonated X-pipe to the rear muffler(s) from the Stillen catback (plus resonated test pipes and the resonators from the rep), and I love the sound from the Magnaflow resonated X-pipe, sounds insane (video on my channel) I love this setup. The H-pipe and resonated X-pipe combo is pretty unique
I know it sounds dumb but 06 and cars like this brings me right back to Tokyo drift and nfs most wanted days. Mostly Tokyo drift though. The way that 350z sounded.
Hi i just wanted to know which magnaflow part # is it? Is it the 11385? And also where in the system did you weld in the magnaflow part, did you replace the resonators after the hks h pipe with the magnaflow part? Thanks !
I swapped the HKS for a Z1 single, and still miss the sound of the HKS. My wife actually hates the new setup, and wants the HKS back lmao. (the HKS was too restrictive for our power goals) Awesome video too!
Yeah the Z1 is super loud, and raspy above 3000... Motordyne is good, and Tomei isn’t bad, but, if you’re road racing, the Tomei is actually too loud for some tracks.... which is now a $1,500 useless piece of titanium....
Hey sorry for the late reply, I'm pretty sure it's the X-pipe causing the two exhaust pulses to collide in some way that causes the whistle. The X-pipe greatly reduces rasp, I will take whistle over rasp any day.

@@joseph-ol5nt because I plan on putting a GT wing on and mounting it on either side of the wing, so if the ducktail extended out all the way I wouldn't have any mounting points
Not gonna lie...mine sounds so much better. Plus it sounds like you have a turbo. You can tell by it crapping out all the time. Bleh bleh bleh bleh bleh....sounds like a misfiring pile of crap.
