Nice. I got a '08 350z with stock headers, Berk resonated test pipes, Z1 Y pipe, and Z1 single exit. No tune. Stupid loud! Pretty quick and I can keep up with Camaro SS's and Mustang GT's but they'll start pulling at higher speeds.
@@toyo4376 I've raced a '17 Mustang GT, I hung for a little bit but they got me top end. 5th gen Camaro SS, same thing with the Mustang. I've raced the 6spd Mustang, hung with him, and a 10spd Mustang, he straight out smoked me! 😂 My co-worker has a '20 Charger R/T, he gets smoked. I even gave him the hit at 50mph and I caught up to him and passed him. I've raced a '13 BMW 650i too, it be neck and neck til 130mph cause his limiter kicks on and that's when I leave him.
@@thomt-a1315 It has some rasp to it, but if you daily drive it and stay under 3k RPM, you don't really hear it. I had a dude give me a compliment about 2 days ago, he asked me what all I did to the VQ cause most people don't like the trumpet sound. I know one thing though, once I got the test pipes installed, I've noticed that makes hissing noises at low RPM's, almost sounds like a snake. I checked the forums and apparently it's normal. I've noticed once I installed my test pipes, the car got extremely loud! Cold starts are fun with my neighbors. 😂
1000% do it. Before I bought my Nismo I actually test drove both the same week. I did like the styling and center gravity of the BRZ a little. But it wasn’t even comparable to the power and torque delivery the Nismo gave me. Car was so much fun even in stock form.
@@08HR350z i ended up passing on the deal for now, as I currently own a fbo 03 de and the brz is basically my 30mpg commuter that is still fun to drive. I'll have an hr soon though!

Post more videos bro i love the way this thing sounds! I just got stillen shorty headers, i also have berk non resonated test pipes, and a megan y pipe and custom single exit. Haven’t installed the headers yet and i’m wondering if they bolt up to berk test pipes? And also i’m wondering if I need a tune immediately after install or if i can drive it like that for awhile. My 08 is my daily so. I’d appreciate any feedback!
You’ll love the headers bro, they change up the sound for sure! Make sure you have DE flanged test pipes and they will bolt right up. Also be careful with clearance with these headers and the steering column. Might very slightly touched, had to sand it down a little.
Dude if got admin to tune why not let them remove the speed limiter off your car too if I got my exhaust and heaters they were gonna. Tune mine and take limiter off .

One example of mileage, although being over 100 K not meaning shit to do with the performance of these HR motors that other dude that has a video like this said he had around 200 K and he said it still pulls just like this with a lot of mods on it
