Symmetra's design is outdated. She was made for ow1, when it was not that fast, not that dynamic and flashy. I insist on her 2nd rework. Sym's turrets can damage enemies in flight and have a little bit more health. Their amount is increased to 4 and cooldown decreased by 2 seconds. Sym's tp may have passive ability that gives recently tp'ed little amount of overhealth. Of course it should be on a cooldown for, let's say, 5 seconds or even 1 application for each ally. The tp's deploying speed should be faster. Or maybe even make its passive like it was in old days, that if an ally stands withing tp's radius - it'll give him some shields, 30 e.g. Sym's primary is bad. It works only at low ranks where people can't land their shots to symmetra that is attacking them. It doesn't apply to winston for example because he has primordially different game style. Zarya's weapon is alike sym's but zarya is a tank that has many HP and can scale her dmg fast enough to kill an enemy before she gets killed. Sym only has her 225 hp. She isn't interesting at all if you ask me. She needs a rework. Her ult is somewhat good though but maybe even it might be changed in exchange for good rework №2 Tp is slow. Turrets are slow. Ult is kind of ok. Primary is slow. Secondary isn't quite original and fun to use. 225 hp with shields as a some part of that amount is nice. The other stuff is meh... She is "good" only on 1-2 maps and even there she isn't so good to let her be, besides it is not a good reason to let her be the way she is at all. I mean, we let sym go just because she can compete with other strong dps like sojourn or reaper on a couple of maps? That's it? Nope... She should be reworked, or else will remain that one hero that is only being played at low elo and some custom games... It sucks. Bastion and torb were those ones in ow1. Now they may not be in ideal state, but still seem MUCH better than they were in ow1 times... Torb got buffed and bastion got reworked to be more mobile and still being able to deal much damage. tldr: sym should be reworked 2nd time.
The only thing they should do is increase her beam range to 15m-20m. Another idea would be to make it so that she regenerates her shields based on a percentage of the damage she's doing(so basically lifesteal). Turrets should not be buffed because they are free damage that doesn't require aim.
