35W vs 55W ballasts 

I don’t particularly like to use 55w as they do burn the elliptical reflector or melt the housing so this is why I prefer the 35w

they run a bit warmer... but so far everything seems to be holding up fine to them

Im planning on switching to 55w have you noticed that there is a lot more heat with them? Worried about things melting.

I am confused man .. did you put 35W bulb on 55W HID ballast you mean ?

I got a 55w HID kit, ballas and bulbs are 55w, for $19,99 and they bright Asf... I wanna check out the 70w HID kit...

R u in 35watt bulbs with 55watt ballast? My car with generic projectors, is not too brighter like yours in 35w, i want the light of your 55w ibit i donk know if i have to buy a 55w kit or only ballast, , i hope u can help me

Probably because you had shitty DC 35w ballasts. AC would put out more light.

Did you use wire hardness on the 55w?

why are mine shit its a 12v 55w h7 high beam but they dont work my low beams are awesome tho
