My family moved from Key West to Coconut Grove in 1894! That’s when the sand bar now named Miami Beach had coast rescue houses set up to help survivors of ship wrecks and later people would drive over a wood bridge to get there for a Sunday picnic! GlennFHoward
@InTheAir1122 lol miami is a shithole in certain areas but others its really nice. This is at the end of sunny ilses and overlooking golden beach.its an extremely wealthy area and is known as little moscow,very low crime .

@@aa-vg6rn There are people in Miami that have seriously insane amounts of money. There are rich people then there are wealthy people then there are people that couldn't go broke if they tried.
People with that kind of money don’t live in Miami all year long, they usually come down here for a few weeks in the summer and during winter from november till april.
When the Florida Keys lighthouses were manned in the 1800’s, the keepers were required to sleep in the little room under the light room to insure the light stays lighted. Ships often went on the reef without these “modern” navigational aides. Anyone that has been on top of the Cape Florida Lighthouse on Key Biscayne would appreciate how tiny the top rooms are and difficult carrying ten gallons every day up the 99 stairs were. I can’t even imagine how scary that was for them and sitting in the living room of this apartment with those huge windows during a Hurricane would be just as, should I say “exciting”. Of course, the Miami Hurricane Center requires evacuation from all coastal properties during imminent Landing of high wind hurricanes, but...? GlennFHoward
I would buy a very nice home for one million and use the other thirty-five million to set up self sustaining programs to help the elderly, the homeless and the disadvantaged.
This is a 21 million dollar penthouse but I don't mind them reaching. People like to think they got a bargain even when shell out 21 million. Personally I like a lower level unit I can escape from.
There was an a 2 bedroom apartment in NY about 10 years ago that I saw in a new glass building, 10th floor, overlooking the Hudson River, westside highway. It was for sale back then for 10 million dollars and was generic as HELL!!! Basically just wood floors, windows from floor to ceiling and stainless steel appliances. So this doesn't surprise me at all.
