The redwood forest may actually not be entirely gone yet, because, in pocket edition/ Bedrock edition, there is a biome called “redwood_taiga_mutated” and “redwood_taiga_hills_mutated”

Honestly the ghost miners would be so cool. They don't even have to do anything, just make creepy sounds and float by every once in a while.

It wouldve been so nice if bluestone actually existed. They dont even have to reinvent redstone, but could have added it so you can run multiple red(or blue)stone connections directly next to each other without them connecting.

There should be tan wool, more shades of concrete, and jungle treehouses. That would be a good update 🤓

I think the 1.21 update name should be "Cities and Professions". The new features being : 1- Cities. 2- Cars. 3- Different professions (Doctors, Engineers, Firefighters etc.). 4- Buildings (Mcdonalds, Ikea, Fire departments etc.). 5- Roads. 6- Mirrors. It will be a 2 part update. The first part ( a.k.a 1.20.5) being Cities and the second part ( a.k.a 1.21.0) being Professions. I hope mojang listens to me.😊

My idea for sharks is that they are not hostile to player unless attacked, but attack fish and guardians If you feed one fish it will follow the player and give them strength 1 and haste 1 (Shark's Ferocity) so long as you're within a certain distance of the friendly shark, you're in water, and so long as the shark is alive. This could make killing drowned and clearing ocean monuments easier, while also making a fish farm possible. This would make it a neutral mob like the polar bear.

And the mushroom village one They also need a new wood type because every village has their own unique wood

Another cool feature that was scrapped were the Red Dragons. Basically, Notch wanted there to be a smaller, peaceful dragon mob in the Overworld to contrast the Ender Dragon. They were to be tameable and rideable, but Notch left the company before they made any headway on the idea

The hardhat could have also made it so that if gravel or sand fell on your head it would get rid of it like a torch.

i think paint should be added so you can paint certain sides of the wall and we already have dye so why cant we just mix a little paint with stuff like dye, clay and a water bucket to get a bucket of paint. (i say clay since it will need something not liquid in the mix to make it stick) and then make it the first placeable bucket and give us a paint brush but the durability bare just tells us when the paint on out brush dries so we need to apply layers to the wall.

I think that not adding different types of saddles made of different materials is kinda a good idea, I mean it would look cool and maybe add protection to the horse, but in real life that would probably be uncomftrable for both the rider and horse. Or at least heavy.

I've never understood how vertical slabs "inhibit creativity". If anything, adding vertical slabs would introduce a whole slew of new possibilities for builds. I've also had an idea for an iron wire item that would be used to craft chain armor (since chainmail is made by twisting iron wire in real life). It would be crafted using 3 iron nuggets. The main reason I want this is because the difficulty of finding chain armor makes it effectively pointless since by the time you finally find some, you'll probably already have stronger armor.

Not being able to craft the uncraftable potion makes complete sense, I mean its literally called the uncraftable potion lol.

I feel like it was silly to not add the miner hat because it's "too modern" and not even because we can compare it to Redstone. But we could use a torch tied to the hat instead. It would be made out of a iron helmet, string, and a torch

So by this list: Mojang thinks sharks are murder-torpedoes with a deep-seated desire for human flesh. Or else they think that making *polar bears,* who are MORE aggressive than sharks, neutral is perfectly fine, while making *sharks* neutral is too far.

Bluestone powder... reminds me of magic powder from useful cobblestone mod (though I would rathecall it useful redstone mod:D), or the bluestone from Running to Never music video... Also riding dolphins by drowns would show riding dolphins is bad, so Mojang shouldn't be against... or maybe they think riding chickens isn't bad? And "vertical slabs inhibit natural creativity"... well I guess that for some standpoint such sentence can make sense for furniture, but for vertical slabs? That really make me question Mojang sanity. More building blocks and more ways to use them only unless MORE creativity(combined slabs even more as they let make way more designs). Which somehow pretty much every player get, but Mojang don't... similar story with wood. If limitation of not having colored wood is by design... it means it's bad design(especially that concrete is just so totally different block so thay would be really stupidity beyond my imagination if any of Mojang devs would actually say something like that.). For vertical redstone... they should just add recipe to combine it with copper to make copper redstone wires. And as much as chains being used to make chainmail make sense, the emerald armor or copper one don't. I mean just adding middle tiers of armor is pointless as it's completely useless for old worlds(and neithe). BUT doing something like rose gold, which would upgrade gold to have maybe even the same speed of mining (or slightly increased) but durability about the same as iron would be pretty cool. Also combining elytra with armor could be possible only since some given tier. Like netherite or higher (which may be add in the future). And as much as getting into relationship and having babies with villagers is... at best kinda off putting, the possibility that villagers would expand their village (for example with material given/traded to them, so that would actually still followed the rule that player is responsible for the changes in the world) or fight... maybe not for a player but just to defend themself would be better. I mean is Mojang claiming they are this stupid that they can't reject their pacifist ways even when it's needed? And undo feature should be available... not necessary as a "regular" game mechanic but through commands. At least as possibility to undo some limited amount of placing structure from structure block. Also as much as some mods are straying far to much from vanilla explicitly rejecting possibility of implementing anything from mods is... just plain stupid. (And ironically I just added that video to my playlist "that's what Minecraft needs":D)

7:44 i believe the reason they rejected chains for crafting chainmail armor is because you need an iron ingot and 2 iron nuggets to make one chain. so you're essentially using more iron to get weaker armor which makes this feature pointless

I totally can’t disagree to mojang denying furniture into the game. The process of making new innovative ways of making our own furniture is just far better than placing a readymade couch.

Mojang really need to drop this "We want [X] thing to be unique" ideology. I personally think having Copper, Emerald, or even Amethyst tools and weaponry would be a cool addition and would add more uniqueness with being able to have decent armor as your favourite color.

The reason to that there was Bluestone in the Village & Pillage trailer is that Mojang doesn’t even animate their own trailers. They just pay for someone to do it, and Bluestone is similar to The Green Axolotl. So they didn’t actually accidentally animate it.

I think a huge part of this comes down to the fact that the Minecraft modding community was making tons of these things before mojang added their own versions so it makes them not want to do anything because they don't feel like they're being original. This gigantic list of reasons among a huge plethora of other ones is why I get so mad anytime I try and play Minecraft it feels like a game that they deliberately make stay half done as long as possible So that people don't forget about its relevance while waiting for new updates and snapshots. Many of these things would be very possible to code because it's done with mods very easily and downright simple for the people at mojang at this point but they just don't.
