Curious if Ricoh will do even a VR180 cam. But mostly I would love to see a hi-resolution video focused 360 cam. I love Ricoh’s apps and ease of use. Places are always better when you are away!

I'm impressed with the spatial audio that changes position when you rotate the view. Less impressed with the resolution

Agree! Still waiting for a product that offers excellent 360 video quality with spatial audio and an easy workflow that I can afford or justify. A few more years methinks. Right now 360 cameras work well as an overcapture device though-reframing for 1080 video etc. i’ve seen some crazy “camera” moves from 360 vids that look great.

Also.. the original files look pretty good on VLC player. RU-vid defaults zoom in a bit too much on the desktop- try going fullscreen in your web browser.. then use your mouse scroll wheel to zoom out slightly.. it sharpens things up nicely.

@@JohnChu I watched it in 1440p and there's only a small band in the center that seems reasonably sharp. I will finally be in NYC this week and will test my Ambeo headset as well as my insta360 one X. Looking forward to it.

@@bennielaars That's the other issue with this type of 360 cameras... the edges and seams between the 2 lenses will never be as crisp as the center. Plus not enough resolution to spread out over 360 degrees. Enjoy NYC---- it is gonna be a HOT and HUMID!
