Wow. Very detailed review. N no of tests performed great.. But in the package no spares are given i mean no extra set of side brushes or hepa filter. And for how long did it worked? It would be more helpful if app features are also shown. Anyways thankyou so much for the review..

Thank you so much for the feedback! Yes, unfortunately, there is no spare side brush or filters in the box. The battery lasts ~120 minutes in silent mode and ~105 minutes in standard mode (didn't test how long it works in Turbo and Max mode). Noted, I'll show more app features in my next videos. Between 360 S7 and C50 which one would h prefer and why? Cost is not a factor

If cost is not a factor, the 360 S7 is a much better choice in most cases. Thanks to Lidar, it has much more efficient navigation, and a lot of smart features such as virtual walls, no-go zones, zoned cleaning, save up to 10 maps, etc. It also has a larger battery and better climbing ability. The S7 builds a very accurate map which you can see in the app. It will finish the job faster since it always knows where it has already been cleaned and doesn't repeat cleaning the same places twice. The C50 uses very primitive gyroscope based mapping and navigation. It has a larger water tank and it is more compact (may fit in tight places where the S7 can't). The C50 may struggle to find the charging dock when finished cleaning while the S7 knows the exact dock position on the map.

360 С50 or Xiaomi Mi Vacuum Mop Essential (G1)? What would you recommend and why?

Both use the same gyroscope mapping, but I like that the Xiaomi Mijia G1 shows the map in the app, while the 360 C50 doesn't. The 360 C50 struggles to find the dock when finished cleaning not in the same room as the dock. The G1 knows where the dock is located and returns without any problems. 360 C50 supports Alexa and Google Home, but the G1 seems like doesn't. Unlike the C50, the G1 has a carpet boost feature. The C50 can't vacuum and mop at the same time, but it has a larger water tank and can mop within a few hours on one charge. In terms of cleaning performance, I don't think there is a significant difference. I would choose the Mijia G1.

Thanks for the great review. Among C50 and S6, which one works better considering s6 has small water tank. Also, does C50 makes a lot of noise?

Hi there, I assume you are talking about the 360 S6? Based on my experience, the C50 cleans better. It does a better job on carpets and is also a better mop. It has stronger suction and the water tank is not only bigger but also allows to set water level output. On the other hand, the C50 is worse at navigation and also does not save a map. It also lacks no-go zones and zoned cleaning. But if you have a clean layout and not going to use these options, the C50 would probably be a better buy. Keep in mind, the C50 has a solid brush which does make a difference for people with long hair. As to the noise level, the C50 has more suction so it is noisier on Max power. On low power they are about the same.

I'm glad you like the robot! To set Google Home, open the Home app, tap on the plus icon in the top left corner, then tap on "Set up device", then choose "Works with Google option", search for "360 IoT" service and log in with your login and password that you created for the 360Robot app.

Does it have mapping? Can it clean faster in subsequent uses? Or do we have to manually take it to every room?

The 360 C50 does have mapping, but it's based on a gyroscope sensor which is pretty simple mapping technology. Such mapping is very inaccurate compared to Lidar/camera-based mapping. It also doesn't save the map and there is no way to view the map or the cleaning report so it doesn't clean faster in subsequent uses. Yet the robot cleans in neat parallel rows and in most cases knows where it has already cleaned. You don't need to manually take it to every room, the robot will discover all the rooms on its own. But if you live in a big house it may have problems with discovering all the rooms.

Hi, if you already paired the robot with the app, you can see the charging level in the app. Charging takes ~4 hours I guess.

The C50. It doesn't bump around randomly but pretty much covers the whole area because of the built-in gyroscope. And also has stronger suction. Definitely the 360 C50.

Can you please tell me why my robot keeps stopping and saying "I'm stuck, move me somewhere else" every few seconds. It barely moves around, I even try to use remote and it hardly works either, it'll just move forward no matter what direction I press.

Yes, I meant that the language option may be in the volume or voice menu. I don't remember exactly how to change it, because I don't own this robot anymore. Maybe there is no such option, I don't remember for sure. Mine was with an English voice by default, other 360 models allow changing the voice language, so I thought this model also has such an option in the settings.

My robot leaks a lot of water onto the floor whenever I fit in the water tank. I have to use a mop to mop the water up

I guess something wrong with your water tank. The robot has an electronic water control, so it should not leak. Maybe the water tank is broken. Try to fill it with water and inspect it carefully to find out the exact place where it leaks, maybe there are cracks on the water tank or something like that.

The 360 C50 has a gyroscope and navigates based on it. It bumps into obstacles and that's how it understands where to clean. Overall, in clean layouts, it does a good job especially considering its cost.

The Xiaomi costs more which makes it a better option. In addition, it has virtual walls, and no-go lines as well as the ability of watching it in real time in the app. But I was surprised with how well the 360 C50 performs too. If you do not need these features and you don't have medium-pile carpets, the C50 is a good buy.

I would say the 1C is a better option in any scenario. Besides, it is more expensive. It has a camera for a better mapping and extra features are presented too. But for he price the C50 is a great machine.

I own one, personally if you got one room in the house its great because it will spend its entire battery in that room. If you got 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms it will be easier to hand vacuum those. Unless I’m doing something wrong?

Yeah, I think you are right. I used it in a small apartment so it was able to discover and clean all rooms. But in a larger house with a few rooms and a lot of obstacles, it may get lost because it uses a "cheap" gyroscope navigation system.

@@SmartRobotReviews However, since being first roby vacuum cleaner i’m super impressed with it. I never noticed how dirty/dust my house way. I swear I picked up all the mess when I vacuum normally. It will eventually navigate around the house and it has enough battery to do it.

For the price, it's a decent robot vacuum and despite its compact size, it performs pretty well. Navigation efficiency is a trade-off for the lower price, still much better than robot vacuums with a random cleaning pattern.

I have this robot for 8 months and had issues at this time. The cylinder rolling brush seem to get stuck easily on carpets and makes noises as the belt fails to carry force of the brush causing its belt to spin out of sync with the brush. Then the sensor starts failing to detect chair legs. The side brushes would spin whenever it is charged or switched on. These issues gives me a robot that have poor ai detection on baseboards that have dark colors, deteriorating ai system. It is really depressing to observe it not like the way it was before and it felt like a chore to supervise the robot since it always get stuck on pillars like the chair legs it can no longer detect it anymore. I live an area with nobody to fix and i have to send it faraway a thousand kilometers from where i live in order to fix it.

I personally prefer the 1C but it costs more as well. Each has advantages. I think the 1C is a better vacuum but the C50 runs longer as a mop. The 1C has better navigation and it shows a map on the app which you can't do with the C50. So I would go for the Xiaomi if paying more is not a problem

does the C50 operate in autocleaning in a "big" zigzag pattern from a wall going far to the opposite wall back and forth ?Or just a limited small zigzag pattern, the demo showed only a small rectangular space with borders , comparing this to xiaomi C1, I hope c50 does the same

Yes, it does clean in a long back and forth cleaning path from a wall to another wall or furniture, same as the Xiaomi 1C. I just use this rectangle with borders to test cleaning performance. Yet, the 1C has more accurate and efficient navigation and more app features like real-time tracking, no-go lines, zoned cleaning, etc, because it uses a camera to build a map and navigate around.

I want to know if the robot knows when the cleaning is done and decides to go back to the station for another day. The V5s pro with me only cleans in random places until the battery runs low and finds the docking station.

Yes, this one uses a gyroscope for navigation, so it knows where it has already cleaned and returns to the dock when the cleaning is done.

I just bought it. I used the app for 1st time it worked fine and the robot found dock station. Then it asked for firmware upgrade and i upgraded it. Now it is not connecting to my wifi! What should I do?

Do you mean the device is offline in the app? Did you try to delete the device from the app and pair it as a new device?

Cuando quieres agregar un nuevo dispositivo y le picas en “aspiradora “ te salen varias opciones pero no el 360… entonces le das en “otros “ y va a buscar un dispositivo. Después de eso te da la opción de “ayuda para establecer la conexión”, y luego sale un letrero que dice “activar skills de casa inteligente “ y va a salir una lista de skills… le das a la lupa de buscar y escribes “360 cleaner” y ya :)

The manufacturer doesn't recommend adding any cleaning solution to the water tank since the water pump inside the tank may be clogged. You can try it at your own risk, I know some users use a cleaning solution and it works, but there is no guarantee that it will not break your device. The safest option is to add the cleaning solution to the mopping pad, not inside the water tank.

It has a simple cleaning brush but strong suction allows to pick up pet hair even on carpet so yes, I would say it can be used in homes with pets. Cleaning the brush from pet hair mat take some time but overall the robot worth it.
