Would you consider doing a video about old forge and tug hill . Where to go , how and where you need a trail pass ect. Basically the ins and outs of taking a trip up there.looking to head up that way for the first time next year.
Could you remind me when I start uploading the rest of this seasons videos in October and I'll see what I can do. I'm sure my videos have convinced many riders top go to Old Forge so that sounds like a reason video to do at this point.
Thanks Mark. Yeah. With the limited riding we've had this season everybody is out riding whenever they can. This season is probably the worst in at least 10 years.
We went back on the 4th and 5th of February and I saw 110 on the speedometer but the sled documented 109 on the max speed display. I'm not sure how accurate the speedometer is but that's what it said. You'll see that in a future Video. Thanks for watching Nate.
I notice you are not wearing your glasses. Is that because they are fogging on you?? I hope not because I bought an Oxygen helmet for my wife - she absolutely has to wear glasses to see!! Without snow - I haven’t been able to get her out to try it. Also - does the little Freestyle 300 have a widening kit to increase the ski stance?? Just curious. Thanks!
I wasn't wearing my glasses because I just didn't want to deal with them. They were in the glove box. I had treated them with Dawn dish detergent the first day but it wore off after that so I decided not to wear them. My vision isn't that bad so they are optional for me. You may have to crack the visor open a little when you slow down or stop. It's not perfect but once you are moving it works pretty well with glasses on. As far as the 300 Freestyle I don't know about a widening kit. You may want to check DooTalk for that.
I hear ya. I do the same but this gives me time to edit those multi-day rides. Still one more video from January 29th and then I start editing videos from February 4th & 5th. Some snow would be nice though! Lol.
Just arrived back home and seen you uploaded the latest video. 👍🏼Loving the new added Insta360 buddy. No need to make sure you have the camera aimed just right... You really can’t miss a shot with a camera that’s recording everywhere. Especially when you’re smoking past the boyz on the lake and you track them as you drive on by.😂 Take Care
Yeah. I was able to get the audio from the mics in the helmet on the GoPro synced with 360 in many of the clips in this video. I only had to do a little voice over. Welcome back and I'll talk to you soon. 👍
PSTY, I enjoyed the video especially with all you guys racing on the lakes. Your sled seemed to perform the best, what RPM is optimum for the new 850cc. I cracked up at your comment about the two U-F-doos at the end, keep up the great footage! MM
Thanks MM. I'm not sure about the rpms but we were talking about it and Gary seemed to think it should hit 8000 but I could barely get it to do that for a second. It mostly wanted to run around 7800. Lol. Those sleds would probably light up the whole trail at night! I've still got the day 3 video and then the 2 day trip from February 4th and 5th videos yet to come. Thanks for watching!
@@Paisteboy I look forward to the next set of your videos. I know you guys aren't into racing but one of the aftermarket companies must have a nice clutch kit that may even enhance your trail riding. I'm an old skidoo owner so I'm not sure of the new clutches, but there was always some adjustability with RPM with the old TRA clutch. MM
Ok. I'm not very knowledgeable about clutch springs and all the gearing stuff but I'm sure there is a lot that can be done with these clutches. I like to go fast but I like trail riding the best. Day 3 coming soon.
hey paiste does that camera automatically key onto an object and follow it or does it have a setting that moves it around im looking into get one for myself thanks
It does both but you have to tell it what you want it to do after the footage has been shot. You choose the view when you edit. It's a lot of extra work because I have to edit the 360 footage first then bring it into my main editing program to edit the whole video.
@@richcamera7323 Yeah. That's better because you can do it when you want, no pressure to make videos like me. One more thing to consider is that the files are huge because you are recording all of the surroundings you have to record in 5.7K that way when you ficus in on the view you want it's still at least 1080p. I filled a 400GB card on this 3 day trip and just bought a 1TB card for an upcoming trip. In my case I had to download all 400gb to my computer just to start working on it. You can also buy a card reader for your phone and edit with your phone. I got that too but I like the desktop app better for editing. The phone app is better for making shorter video clips more like Reels or tik tok.
