only with respect to FBS does it seem to make sense to people that the people directly involved in bringing in the revenue have to give a portion to people who had absolutely nothing to do with generating that revenue. i truly cannot grasp that mentality. put in the work, the effort, risk your long term health only to have to give a portion of your pay to others who aren't working alongside you. so very confusing.
