B'ha'alotcha (בְּהַעֲלֹתְךָ‎) - Hebrew for “when you step up,” is the 11th word in the 36th weekly Torah portion (פָּרָשָׁה‎, parashah) covering Numbers 8:1-12:16. The parashah tells of the Menorah in the Tabernacle, the consecration of the Levites, the Second Passover, how a cloud and fire led the Israelites, the silver trumpets, how the Israelites set out on their journeys, complaining by the Israelites, and how Miriam and Aaron questioned Moses.

Excellent Teaching (upper case letters). How fitting for the Challenges we face in 2024 ! Only prayers and scriptures and Listening to Torah as you teach it. Lets pray for the Peace of Jerusalem. Shabbat shalom Rabbi izaak. I am from Papua New Guinea.. I would like to ask for prayer.. We in Papua New Guinea we have a lot of culture and customs a lot of believes, but ever since I started learning from your teachings, I clearly understand and see why we need to read and lear more from the Torah, which is the first 5 books.. I am going through a time of maturity and growing.. most people believe that the 10 laws given to Moshe, were done away with and not only that, but the rules and regulations to. But yeshua said " I didn't come to do away but to fulfill, And he also said if you love me keep my laws... And learning from this parasha... IS TO BE LIKE HIM ( YESHUA) US TO BE LIGHTS UNTO OTHERS. PRAISE ADONAI...

Amen brother... Thank you for your comment... There is a big difference between the real Hebrew Rabbi 2000 years ago named Y'hoshua who lived out God's law perfectly as our example versus the Greek Izeus (translated Jesus), who the church promotes does away with God's law with the wrong interpretation of how he fulfilled the Torah. In Matthew 5:17, Y'hoshua said He came to "fulfill" the law, to "PLEROO" the Law of God. The Greek word PLEROO means to fully preach. This means that Yeshua said He came to FULLY PREACH the Law (Torah) of God. While we are saved by grace through faith, our emunah faithfulness is motivated by love to God in obedience to His commandments and that is why James 2:26 says, "Faith without works is dead". Thank you so much for the wonderful Torah teaching from Abba! I especially love your ending regarding Miriam. I'd always pictured this kind of negatively, in that 1-individual held up over 2-million due to their sin. But, you fleshed it out so beautifully how that each person is so important to the plan of יהוה , so important, that those in our sphere of influence are stuck and cannot move forward without us. Wow, I definitely repent, again for any and all lashon hara, that would keep those around me unable to move forward into the destiny the Father intends. Beha'alotcha "to step up". Scripture teaches us to "step up" and take responsibility for our actions. When we sin we are to publicly confess our sins to one another and be healed. If we confess out sins and repent God is faithful to forgive us and restore us to a right standing within the congregation of the Lord. Denial of sin, and hiding of sin, some may get away with in this world, but all will be revealed on the day of judgement, and how tragic it is for someone to delude themselves by hiding their sin from the world when in the end their sin will be revealed to all by God before they are cast into the Lake of Fire after hearing the final judgement from our Savior, "Go away from me you who work iniquity. I never knew you!"

All Torah points to Jesus Christ. Jesus is Messiah who fulfilled the law. He is the Way, the Truth, and Life. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ who fully paid for all mankinds sin debt. Not by works but by believing in the Lamb of God Who takes away the sins of the world. Our righteousness is in Him alone. This is forgiveness of sins, right standing with God, freedom, peace, and joy!!!
