37 Ford farm truck sold!

I’m so glad those people are gonna restore this masterpiece. Maybe one day we can see the finished product.

They need two new front tires because the tires and inner tubes are getting brittle and they easily break apart. The two back tires are in fair condition, even they are not flat, but they also need four tires in the back (it is a dually) for the 1937 Ford truck.

That is probably a 11/2 ton truck. The pickup generally got more car style wheels and that spring pack is huge. It has the big trucks bud wheels and duals too. A normal pickup wouldn't be factory equipped with duals either. If you look the windshield can probably be popped open too like many earlier trucks did for extra air cooling on nice days.

That's a 1.5 or 1 1/2 ton Ford. Usually, people have an old F250 or F350 frame and drivetrain and drop the cab and front end assembly on the framework with all the current electronics. In some cases, they restore the trucks to their former glory but most likely an old 77-06 F250-F450 wrecked truck is a donor for the framework

Love it. A lot of farms use those for lawn ornaments in California. I wouldn’t mind seeing one run.

Being a dually, I would figure at least a 1 ton. With all of those leafsprings? No telling!

Jay you should organize with the restorator, to least send you photos of the restored products, so you can do a before and after segment included in some of your videos. It would only take a few seconds to upload, and it would be something different on top of the great job you already doing.

Those grills:I think left hand was 31-ish Ford,and right hand may be 32-33 Plymouth.? I think that truck would be neat as a re-purposed roll back,or take a 3rd of the springs out and set a camp trailer on it.Like and old Airstream.

It looks just like the one my son and I are building into a rat rod on our channel. It used to be a fire truck for the town of Jackson New Hampshire. If anyone wants to follow our progress click on that red circle T next to my name. We need more subscribers. We're also building a 40 Ford pickup at the same time. We put an IFS setup on the 40 and used the 40 front end on the 37. We don't have a fancy shop. we're building them in the back yard. Nothing like the builds you see on TV.
