I'm still so upset I had to sell my '41 and sadly it was just before they went through the roof . I was in a real bind and got completely screwed . I had sold it many years ago to a friend and he held it and sold it back to me 17 years later . But then my whole world fell apart and I had to sell it again . I'm devastated because it made things so much worse to loose that along with everything else and I do mean everything.😢

Notice that the riding position is more of a "sit up and beg" position like the old standard bikes such as Triumph and Norton, or the Yamaha 650 vertical twin. Not like the laid back semi chopper cruiser bikes. There's a reason for that. Even today, most Harley Davidson bikes have more of a standard riding position than the Japanese cruiser bikes. Because that's how you are supposed to ride a motorcycle. You already look cool riding a motorcycle, but you want to be able to survive it.

And some folks just appreciate a HD because it’s heavy, making it by default more manly. This is one of the greatest HD and even modern HD, even though heavy, are easier to handle because they engineered the heck out of it.

I wouldn't trust that seat. I've had a bicycle seat break on me when I was riding it. That's not a fun experience 😕 You'd better get an engineer give you the OK to ride it. Handle bars can be all rusty on the inside, and they break in half when you're riding it, too. You'd better get them checked out too.

Sweet.. I had a buddy got a 38… wanted me to build it for him.. I wouldn’t take the build.. he freaked on how much all the original stuff was& wanted to put a bunch of china parts on it.. I told him. I’d not disrespect a piece of history that way.. idk what he did with it from there.. but if he saw how much you said that one’s worth?? He would understand my point of view better..👍✌️
