id have to say its the axel shaft I had the same problem with my old dodge before I sold it and bought a new one and just bumped it in and my truck was back to normal.
If I had the money I would buy the motor off you I am broke down in Reno nevada and live full time in my Tahoe I blew a rod. And it knocks but when your in disability and can’t work my home is going to get towed and bam out on the cold streets of someplace I don’t know but watching your videos inspire me not to give up

im betting the end of the axle snapped off. pull out the axle and look inside to see what was left behind.. maybe a strong magnet can pull out the broken stub>?

However, unless u have the money to change damn near every suspension part and everything that touches the suspension to bring the geometry back to what it was, so it rides like stock, just higher, than you will undoubtedly come across issues. Esp if ur doing anything more than parking lot driving.

You broke the front locker, which is essentially your diff. Not sure how much oil you have lost, but if it’s substantial, your entire front diff is smoked. You can put whatever heavy duty axles you want in it. That tiny front diff is going to continue to be your weak link.
Hmmm, giant oversized tires on stock running gear. Multiple launches over homemade ramp. Bouncing around over giant rocks and off-roading in places where it gets stuck and has to be yanked out. Seems normal to me, not sure why it would be broken? 2 choices, full send with the aftermarket parts cannon, or fix what’s broken and watch it slowly tear itself apart. Either way, this little truck will never be the same and is destined for the scrap heap. Which is fine if the content pays for it, but kinda sucks if it’s your only mode of transportation.
This is exactly why I’m perfectly happy with 35s on my Jeep JLU & 33s on my ZR2. Bigger than factory & more proportionate, while more than capable for most off pavement adventures. I don’t see the point in 37+ tires for anything other than trail dedicated buggies (rock crawlers).

Its time to start looking into gear reduction especially with those size tires. You are going to start breaking more Ujoints, axles, and locker. That click was the locker and C clip breaking from inside.
I made this same argument when they had the jeep. They could of said hey we're goong here on this day if u wanna wheel with us be there (theres not many places in pa n the one place the frequent is huge. Point is, they could of said buy this shirt n u still have to pay admission n come hang out with us Im betting they'd of gotten more support then they ever thought possible. N all of those people there would be sharing witj their friends n family some of which will be new subs for their yt channels. Point is, its a huge win across the board for everyone n its 2 to 3 hrs of their day, they can show up, say whats uo to everyone do a litte route n roll n we'd all love it. Idk why this hasn't happened yet.
Ohhhhh so when it comes to putting anything bigger than 35's on a truck it becomes not only a fitment issue but more so an axle issue because thier just not strong enough to handle that extra weight and contortion. Crap that sucks and unfortunately as much as i hate jeeps im seriously starting to why so many people perfer them

That axle may have just simply popped out do to the angle of it cause from the lift and the articulation of your suspension at that time I have that happen with my 06 dodge ram so it might be as simple as pull it and put a new c clip on it and slide it back in
I've got 34's on my '16 Z71 diesel with 4.10 gears and that seems to be a good sweet spot for still maintaining good highway manners. I know Dana did some testing with 4.56 gears and determined that the axel shafts weren't strong enough for the extra torque they end up being subjected to. Definitely get a steel drive shaft as you're already beginning to twist yours.
Most people upgrade the tire size but dont think about upgrading everything else. 31in tires to 37 u will need to beef up gears ,axle , and control arms. And u showed the drive shaft bent that could lead to popping and not locking. Good luck on truck fix

Well Bobby no one can say you drive a pavement princess. I hate to see they damage but i am glad your not afraid to send it like it was made to do. The first thing i do when i get a new truck is drive it across my creek to feed my cows and horses. Love the channel bud.
May not be broken, you may have pulled your cv boot from over articulation with the big tires. The suspension geometry is incorrect and the stock cv axle cannot handle that amount of stress at those angles, so it pulls it out of the boot.
Broke That axle should just pop back in you may have damaged the splines a bit and the seal from driving on it without it being in properly but I’m sure you can just pop it back in and hit the trails

I know that Chevy Performance Parts has some upgraded half shafts…. Not sure if they’re more beefy though… I think they’re designed for more travel…. And very pricy…. Like 4k…. Ridiculous… Peak Performance might have something…. I think they offer the King swap along with a lot of other high quality parts for the zr2…
Broken. Bobby its looking like you have lost the snap-ring that holds the axle in the diff it dosent look like anything is broken. This top gear challenge better not be cap. You said series I hope you. Guys go thru with it. It would be good for your and steves channel
You can go buy a rubicon and break something day 1. N that is the most offroad vehicle than normal people can buy that comes down an assembly line built for the offroad. Point is, no one serious about offroading leaves those stock either, even though ur paying for 44's front and back most change those out to 60's. Its amazing jeep has yet to release a product fully built with 60's, besides the obvious that they dont want to warranty the product anyway. I think its absolutely nuts, that the best engine, still to date, is an engine they thru in from a minivan in 2012, thats nuts. N it really is for the purpose of offroading the best option still.
BROKE. I had this happen to my 2016 Jeep Cherokee. These axles are made of glass from the factory, doesn’t matter the brand Jeep, Gm whatever. If you have the money go with RCV axles. They are way stronger and more flexible. Likely ur axle shaft popped out of the transmission and the spindles on it got sheared. You can tell if you put it in 2wd (assuming that it uses the front tires) and usually you can hear a grind when you drive on it or it wont be able to move. 4wd it will be able to drive normally. Pretty cheap to replace if its just the axle.

Broke… your steering rack is probably jacked up and the as for the axle you coulda broke the locker that would be my first guess hearing what had happened
