Gonna be honest after playing a good amount of tear I was surprised that it bricked quite often, not Floo levels of bricking, but it wasn't as consistent as I would've expected from a tier 0 deck.

​@@nightmagister That's what Perlereino to 1 and every Tear name at 2 does, sometimes you don't draw Reino-Heart and your random mills hit nothing.

​@@felipebarreto97 yeah... The amount of times on MD I would hit ONLY the field, a HT and Cryme and just go "well, fuck me I guess" That's what I get for running a 60 card deck with Grass, though. I find it funny to see all of the effects I can activate when I mill like 30+ cards from it due to the Ishizu cards.

What "out" is there for tearlaments? They play through absolutely every handtrap and can pop off in your turn. Even in Tear zero format not a single YCS top 8 was determined by a player drawing blowout cards and interactions actually matter. Fuck MBT and his "Yugioh is dying" take every 6 months.

​@@lotus_emanon they really don't like Evenly and that's about it I think 🤔 idk Tear is just giving me PTSD...literally the last 10 matches in Worlds was Tear/Ishizu and that was it. The whole event I got over half Tear opponents it was a very grueling experience for me and when I would say "screw it let's put in Tear hate" I'd be out up against Spright or some other top deck.

@@RubenLeyva-uw4lf in my experience it is. Can't speak for everyone but I never draw the out or even start with the out in the first place despite me having 12-15 slots dedicated to HT or board breakers or something to counter the meta

Chains don’t work that way, when shif activates the other player has the chance to respond

His opponent would get to respond before he could activate Maxx "C". It doesn't chain block - he just wants to activate both and there's no reason not to chain them.

​@@MultiThunderer ah I'm a dumbass. Is it because turn player has priority I guess? I remember that faintly. So many rules with chains. I probably remember chaining stuff on my turn to chain block which would make sense since I'd be turn player.

@@bluebladex3 Chain blocking is just for simultaneous triggers. If I fuse 2 monsters that have an effect when sent to GY, I can choose which order to activate them I must use both immediately because they were both triggered at the same time. I must then give my opponent a chance to respond (regardless of who is the turn player) and then I can activate a quick effect after. In any situation other than simultaneous triggers, the opponent of the player activating an effect gets to respond. If each player has a simultaneous trigger (for example, 2 crashing monsters who both have effects when destroyed by battle) the turn player goes first due to the turn player getting priority.

The biggest banlists tend to come after kc cups and such 3 day long events like they do in duel links and they hit things based on play and win rates so tear will definitely get hits, hopefully meaningful ones
