Hear how it sounds on track --> ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-T4n9XzzBZsY.html --> ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Ll3XrXtODRg.html
This exhaust is definitely on the quiet side, so they probably didn't hear it. Plus, I think they'd give me a pass since it's not like I get home from work every night and start revving my engine.
Motordyne engineering are the best exhaust for nissan's hands down best and unique sounding exhaust (motordyne and ART pipes combo) and you have a Ferrari 458 italia sounding 350/370z and by far makes the most power for the buck.
Thanks for the video but I think you should have recorded from the same spot doing the same rev/driveoff for the Ark as you did for stock. Kind of hard to note exact differences when you change other factors like camera placement and what you're doing with the car.
I'm getting the Fast Intentions TDX CBE for my 2019 black 370Z 6MT sport, plus a Stillen Gen 3 CAI and an EcuTek remap of my ECU on the DynoJet LC dyno. We're hoping to get about 315 rwhp on the chassis dyno.
You want to know what an exhaust would sound like without wide open throttles or higher RPMs. A stock exhaust can do that and 7500 RPM. As far as sitting there and not revving it too high...it sounds damn good. And like someone else said it sounds different and better in person. For all you Z/G drivers 35's and 37's...Anyone with a loud exhaust... All they want is a quieter cabin. For those who have a low pitch exhaust sound... They want it louder. Its all over the forums and threads. ARK GRiP plus the HFC's will give you the best of both worlds. I've done my video searching and listening when shopping. None of these exhaust sound like they do in person. Except for the Armytrixx but that has some electrical installations involved as well and its 3K+
Hey man. I'm trying to find a good cat back for my 370z. I have a cheap dna motoring catback that I need to get rid of. I want a 2.5" exhaust tubing, the quieter the better cause I have no cats and it's way too loud for me RN
Because they aren't the same car...? Just because a company makes exhausts for multiple cars it doesn't mean they make one exhaust that fits all. They are made specifically for each car, and each car's exhaust system is different. Different piping/diameters/etc change the tone.
Manny Ruiz Ugh...you're missing the point. The resonators and pipe diameter are the exact same on both setups but that too is not the point. I was trying to say that the 370Z sounded better regardless of the Genesis Coupe's advantage of the extra 100cc of displacement. The difference has to be made up in the design on the Headers and downpipes leading up to the cat-back. In short, "duh."
+Damsons Why are you sorry? You're entitled to a wrong opinion. Better video here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kG7nk1y8CK4.html I recently let my friend co-drive at an autocross so I heard it racing from outside the car -- it sounds pretty amazing. Also FWIW, I've had SO many random people tell me it sounds good after they heard me autocrossing.
