I agree with you 100% that the C4 generation did not receive the love it deserved. Happy to see C4's like this one. I recently bought a 1996 C4 LT1 in Bright Aqua Metallic and I absolutely love it. More than enough power for the streets and puts a smile on my face every time I get into it. The C4's are truly an underappreciated Corvette. Thanks for showing us your C4. It's quite a beaut.
Build quality was lacking in some areas but that simple wedge shape never gets old Very fun car..just enough technology to make it relevant but not too much where you need a electrical engineering degree to service it or modify it
Really nice to see someone give some love to the C4. Congratulations on such a nice build across-the-board. Maybe post a video of her making a pull up the interstate.
Nice vette ! I agree 100% that C4 CORVETTES are TOP NOTCH in every way. I owned several C4 VETTES over the years and had the best times ,with them. Seeing this video , tempts me to go buy one ,again
Beautiful & Wicked Sounding 86! I love my 89 that I’ve had since 2000, she was built with all the performance options available (6-speed, Z51, FX3, 3.33 rear end, sport seats, etc). Autocrossed & road raced her in early 2000’s & started back autocrossing her again a year ago & I will never sell her. The C4 Corvettes are so great only a fool could not love them! Keep loving your Corvette, it’s definitely a keeper!
WOO.. BRUTAL ESE CORVETT ME ENCANTA EL COLOR AZUL Y MAS EN ESE C4 MI GENERACION PREFERIDA CON ESOS RINES ANCHOS ESPECTACULARES Q PASO CON EL TABLERO DIGITAL ALGO MAGICO DE ESTE MODELO.¡ Q HERMOSO AUTO FELICITACIONES DESDE COLOMBIA! ✋👍👍
Very nice car! I have my 84 painted the 92 bright aqua metallic as well. Love that color. I have a LT4 swapped into mine with a Dana 44 and 3.54 gears. Love these C4s!
Very nice build my friend. You easily have the cleanest c4 I have ever seen in person and on the internet. It is equisite yet means business. I hope you never sell it, because this is a piece of art! maybe one day when I am done with my Lemans blue on my c6 I will try out a similar blue! Cheers!
i also have a 94 set up for drag racing... ill do a video like this when I get it painted and the interior is finished.. 383 stroker with manual valve body on a rebuilt automatic trans. inline shifter.. I love seeing an interior on a c4 thats not destroyed lol... beautiful work
Beautiful car I must say😊 I just happen to also have one a bit similar to yours... 86 in aqua that was also disassembled for the repaint in 93 still pretty much stock car 58k miles. Sweet car thanks for sharing 🇺🇸
talk about a car that has been loved and cared for. Better than original, IMO. Great color. I have a polo green C4 which is my favorite corvette color. A close 2nd would be the Night Race Blue color available on later C6s. Thanks for sharing.
Thank You! Yes, I still love it! I’ve had this Vette for what seems forever. I still have so many more plans for it, it never ends. 😂 I also LOVE Polo Green!! Good luck with it! 👍🏽
I find your accent really interesting. It's like youre a born Australian who then moved to Canada and then ended up in the US. Or it's just a posh but rural accent like from somewhere in Maine or Wyoming or Montana or something
Its one of those rare Vette setups where custom rims actually fits the car. Congrats on your build pal. What are your thoughts about C4 being a daily car?
Thank You! The brace was mad by Tom Jasper out of Texas. Unfortunately due to some health reasons he no longer makes them. The top does not fit over, it replaces it. 👍🏽
It has a 3.75" crank with a 40 over (.040") Which actually equates to 384.56 or 385ci Every cube matters. 👍🏽 A 3.75” crank with a .30” bore would equal a 383ci
Thanks bud! It's not a LT1, it's a Stroked 385 L98 with a Miniram. (Looks just like a LT1 intake) The Gauges are from Intellitronix. www.topflightautomotive.com/products/intellitronix-1984-1989-chevrolet-corvette-analog-gauge-cluster-replacement/?gclid=CjwKCAjwxr2iBhBJEiwAdXECw_1L5ah0Ebx8-R7Fn7zGojVBtMCb10fpq20cPoQbmvogNN0OdyCBXxoCq2MQAvD_BwE
@magoostoybox9643 hello! I've an 89 completely stock and beautiful but would love to up the motor. Is that motor the original block? I am looking to do to mine exactly what you've done to yours. Did you do it yourself or have a shop do it and curious about what it would take and cost for just the engine end of it. Beautiful car ive ave always liked that medium blue color you have. Mine is dark red metallic with 52 k and looking almost new. These cars are definitely underrated. Thanks
Yes, the ECM was changed out to a Bigstuff3 unit. The cluster is made by a company called Intellitronix, pretty much plug and play. I haven’t Dyno’d the car yet, having that done in the spring. Thanks!! 👍🏽
@@ryanle1293 It was from a company called Forced Air, but I don’t think they’re around anymore. Sometimes people sell them on the Corvette Forum in the C4 Parts for sale section. Good luck!
C4's suck, unless you spend tons and tons of money on one such as Magoo did. I'll wager he spent more money just on that engine than what I paid for my C5 convertible.
That’s obviously your opinion but I don’t think they suck at all. They handle well and have great torque even in stock form. The LT4’s and ZR1’s were really nice too. To each their own, hope you enjoy your C5. My brother had a 99 FRC and I loved it.
That's a bad boy!! I bet that's an absolute blast to drive!! And don't listen to this guy those wheels are way better than the saladshooters that they come with!! If they were the sawblads maybe but saladshooters no way!!!
Do yourself a favor and eliminate the junk headers and exhausts. Get American Racing long tubes x pipe and perhaps a B&B or a Corsa or stainless works. Trust I know what I'm talking about!
