Part 2 of the 390T works and the tractor is finally complete, after about a month of work its good to get it back online. The tractor looks well with its new red coat, but the repairs took longer and were more costly than I had thought.
Great to see real experiences in the mechanical end of things as many a time we have to take things out that we just fitted and look for wee issues. Dad has great hands for the bodywork and the mechanical too. Had a 390T years ago and a great see tractor and the only fault I found was the small cab they had and you couldn't carry much even a bucket in the cab but maybe my other tractor a Zetor Crystal had me spoilt for space.....

great video cathal a quick test i use to check if a rad is leaking without a pressure test is to use a couple of spuds shoved in the outlets and fill the rad and leave it surprising how well potatoes seal up the outlets.

Why do farmers always buy a new oil container when they buy oil . My dad did the same thinng 😂. I bet they love you at your massey dealer ship.. Any more news on the feed fence for this winter. ?
The old one does not have the long spout on it for getting into the awkward areas. Have not looked at the feed passage yet Abbie, but will do shortly.👍👍
I have some second hand cladding just never got it on. Hopefully some day soon. Mine is power assisted also with the ram at the front, just in front of the rad. If yours is heavy it might just need set properly. As they wear with age the setting goes off and they become hard to steer. Id try that first.👍
