Nice collection of Japanese vinyl - I have some Japanese issues and they are my favorites, ( except for colored Vinyl of course ) - Great video - I finally ordered the singles collection today as I received an email from a company I have dealt with in the past for $160 with free shipping - I had a feeling I should wait and I am glad I did - Sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn't - Take care and God Bless.

I like the sound quality of that White album and Please please me. Unfortunately when I first became disabled, I had to sell my copy to pay the utilities. Slowly I'm building up my collection again. That White album is cost a lot in good condition.

@@beatlebrad5339 thank you for the reply, I'm doing better. I was a general manager at a restaurant and now can no longer walk. So there was a period of time with no pay. That's why I had to sell most of my collection. I'm slowly getting things back. I did keep some that ment a lot to me. Like my first Beatle album etc. I just can't find a decent copy of that white album in my price range but that's fine. I'm just looking forward to let it be 50th anniversary set. So, what I've learned is that the original flag issues came with the black inner sleeves. Later flag pressings came with the poly bag. Aside from that they are all the same. LIB and Hey Jude were the first ones in the series that I bought. And yes, I have them all now. There are 40 in the series, and the last five have a different style of obi.
Awesome! Love the Japanese pressings. I have all the 80’s Zeppelin pressings with the obi’s. I’ve still never played them since owning them for 30 yrs lol! Cheers ✌️🇨🇦

I've been a Collector of Japanese mini lp CDs for years and have also started collecting some of the flag series LPs. The quality of the artwork and in most cases the sound is much better. It hard to get them in mint condition. Good luck with your growing collection

I’ve got a few. Sgt. pepper flag series. The red album. Also on Red wax I have Oldies but Goldies, second album, and soon to arrive the Japanese compilation Beatles No. 5. They are fun to have and I love the look of the red vinyl. I’ll do a video one day soon :)

found out an interesting fact, in 1973 the my love single came out in the UK with the artist listed as McCartney's Wings instead of Paul McCartney & Wings ( it was quickly withdrawn & reissued correctly ) it also slipped out in New Zealand on the green Apple label & possibly a few other regions
Good luck on completing your EAS Flag series Japan Beatles LP's. I own a set of the red vinyl 82' mono's and a couple original 60's red vinyl originals. Had the EAS Flag BC-13 blue box and sold it several years ago. I thought it sounded overly bright. The AP Beatles Forever series from the early to mid 70's sounded better balanced to my ears. The red vinyl mono's also sound good.

I Collect them all, except when I was collecting I didn't get the "Beatles Story". At the time, i did not believe in paying more than $40 for a record set. Back then they wanted 200-300 dollars for it. But Lately I've had 14 strokes in the last 13 years. There are three record companies in Japan and EMI-Odeon was the only company that sprayed a chemical on their record that it would never attract dust. The bad news is that in 1988 they must have abandon that as my "Past Masters" from Japan is not as good as the Capitol version of that album.

Hello Brad. Great to see you. I collect Japanese Albums as well but I really haven’t been going for the Flag series like I should. I do have a few of the Flag Series albums. I’ve been focusing on the original Japanese ones pressed back in the 60s. Most of them are in brilliant condition. I enjoyed seeing all of the Flag series albums Brad. The Beatles didn't have Apple label until the lady Madonna single in March 1968. Just curious thanks Beatle .oh by the way Beatle brad I got my copy of the magical mestery tour deluxe box set Dec 2 2019.but when I received it .it was all wet and the booklet inside pages were also wet too from the rain.thanks again for making the video for mmt back in sept.24 2019.👍

I do like Help a lot and it is good no matter the pressing lol But The Japanese one dose have a more richer sound on it . It is fun to play the difference on the different Countries . Nice collection !! Never saw any these in my area at the time, except the Beatles Story. Nice box edition.. I did grab all the 1982 Red vinyl mono series and the Red vinyl ep box. They sound great, as I am sure yours do as well.

I picked up a 7” vinyl single of Elton John and John Lennon - side A - I saw her standing there,side B - 1. Whatever gets you through the night 2. Lucy in the sky with diamonds. Do you have anything like that? Great video,Japanese pressings are the pinnacle of vinyl I think,though I don’t own any at the moment,but it’s great to see other with them.

Great to see these Brad, thanks. I have the Japanese Magical Mystery Tour also - the only Japanese record (with Obi) that I have in my collection, love it. The Let It Be gatefold is great. The Beatles Oldies record looks fantastic - I found an original copy of that in my local good-will store this year (British pressing I mean!) Hope you're having a great festive season. Cheers, James

The record companies sent them a copy of the master on tape and the skills and experience of the technicians who cut the mother lacquer_matrix were the Royce Rolls of the profession _(with HIGH QUALITY equipment "Made in Japan")._ And... WAIT FOR IT ! WAIT FOR IT ! ... After 28 years, Sony re-opened in 2018 a full manufactering record plant (Mastering/Cutting/Pressing). *Fun fact* the first one in 2018 pressed was "52nd Street - Billy Joel" why ? Haha ! Because it was the first japanese CD manufactured in 1982 of course 😂! Will their quality standards remain the same? I can't tell you. Well, in fact I will pretty soon... stay tuned _(A clue... I must admit that of late I have been more intrigued with Russian pressings because of the oddity of the things. Yours all look to be in tremendous condition. I do find it odd that as the flag of the country of origin of the album is on top of the OBI, that the gatefold Let It Be is flying under the UK flag and not the US flag. Interesting! MMT is flying under the US flag as it should be. Anyway, very nice collection and take care...

I have two Beatles japan press vinyl and i can't hear the vocals from some of the songs. Others have vocals and some have none. Maybe can you help me or what could be the problem?

Ha ha ! How dare you? 😇 You forgot me in the list + you forgot my handmade wooden box "UK Flag Series" 🇯🇵 Collection! Three years later... I must say that I have reviewed my point of view on these 1976 reissues. Paul _(the Canadian one haha)_ I think he pretty agrees with me. Certainly these pressings have their qualities but in the end quite a few flaws_weaknesses. You say they sound like a CD and that's the problem! It's like even before the CD 1982 debut in Japan, they already had the desire to press albums with a very clean sound _aka. quite flat with too much trebles._ "AHDN" is pretty aggressive, for an example. The definition is good but with a lack of nuance. "Please Please Me", I don't know why, but they used US masters with echoes. It's the worst version I have of this album, it's pretty bad believe me _(but with a lovely inner sleeve in color)._ "Help!" is pretty good just like "Rubber Soul". "Revolver" has been cut at the wrong speed, slightly too slow but sounds very very good. "Pepper" is superb just like "Abbey Road" and "Let It Be". "Oldies..." is a little bit aggressive like the "White Album" and "Yellow" is _ok._ In fact as Paul says, the 1978 UK/EU re-releases are clearly superior to this series. I am very happy to have them (1-13) because they are superb collector's items. YES yes yes, this collection is nice and my copies are all almost in MINT condition and complete but in the end I don't listen to them often aka. almost never in fact... sadly because I have better versions _(which "unfortunately" cost me so much less money)._ The previous 1973 🇯🇵 RE collection "AP-00000" does not seem to suffer from all these well known weaknesses but their price is not in the same category as the "UK Flag Series" _(especially with OBI and insert included)._ Only my opinion of course... my ears point of view 😉 I LOVE Japanese pressings !!! Unfortunately, they are the ones I would no longer recommend _(that's why I removed all my videos dedicated to them)._ Take care, dear Monsieur B.Brad 😊! _(You looks great, I'm very happy about that!)._ And as you say : "I'm out of..."
