What compounds can remove the 800 grit sanding scratches? I'd like to know. The ones I seen u use didn't quite.

Thank you Brian! I have come to like the 3D AAT in the past year and I'm glad that you have confirmed positively my appreciation for this product. I use 3D on darker paints and Wizards on lighter colors. I use Sonax now, thanks to you, on all German vehicles.

This stuff is on sale in the auto geek outlet store. 15.99 for 32 oz! The 502 polish is the same price! Quite a steal!

I bought the 501, 502, and 505 a few weeks ago. I have not had a chance to use the 501 yet so I am really looking forward to your results. I did a car last week, 1/2 with 502 and 1/2 with Sonax 04-06, honestly I could not see much difference between the 2. Keep up the Awesome videos!

I did a similar experiment with Sonax Perfect Finish and 502. Couldn't tell a difference. At the shop where I work part time I using 501, 501, and ONE on just about everything that comes through there. It's mostly prepping super cars for the Troy Motor Mall / Somerset Collection in Troy, Michigan.

My favorite chemical abrasive is Klasse AIO does not correct but cleans like no other

It is pad dependent for correction....nothing wrong with that for delicate finishes.

Apex Detail I know so guys also use it on windows and swear by it. I also know some guys that put some in their wash bucket or waterless wash keep saying I’m gonna try but have gotten to yet

I wish I could have been there, I even looked for plane tickets from Dallas to Pennsylvania, the closest airport was about an hour and a half from your place, they were too expensive, maybe let me know with more time and if the tickets are cheaper I would love to go learn and help. Thank you!

Did you shoot a vid of the seminar? That would be great to see. Looks like an excellent turnout. Congratulations! Wanted to come. Family. If you do the same next year, will plan ahead. Maybe bring something fun for the car show. Your area looks like it may have some nice roads to drive. Possibly kill a couple of birds with one stone. Haven't tried the product yet, but would like to. I use 3D/HD abrasives often.

It looks like a good time was had by all! Glad the weekend went so well. This AAT is pricey. Is this a compound that you'd use often Brian or is it an " in case of emergency" kind of compound? Just thinking about costs here. Do I spend the money on this and it sits in the cupboard all year or would it be a good "daily use" kind of investment?

So how would a chemical assist work? Gives the compound a very long cycle time? Somehow keeps the abrasives clean of spent clear coat? Softens the clear coat (hopefully not!)? Cleans the paint allowing abrasives to work better? Any other ways of "chemical assistance" working to remove paint?
