Safe, Environmental Friendly and Efficient!
IPCC systems reduce truck haulage to a minimum and build operational resilience - they substantially reduce operational expenditures (opex) and provide other environmental and safety benefits too.
A mine’s capital and operational costs depend directly on the material transport system. Conventional truck haulage is well established and these systems provide excellent flexibility; however, they can contribute up to 60% of a mining operation's overall cost.
IPCC represents a viable, safer and less fossil fuel dependent alternative.
A typical IPCC system comprises a fully-mobile, semi-mobile or fixed in pit crusher station connected to a network of conveyors and spreaders (for waste) or stackers (for ore) to transport material out of the mine.
Besides the potential reduction in opex , IPCC systems offer numerous other benefits too:
- Improved safety due to fewer mobile vehicle usage
- Reduced greenhouse gas emissions (up to 25%)
- Noise level reduction (up to 35%)
- Dust emissions reduction (up to 40%)
- Reduced manpower requirements (between 40 - 60%) due to increased automation
- Reduced spare part requirements
- Possible electrical power generation at downhill conveyors
- Reduced bad weather downtimes
TAKRAF's competence in IPCC systems
With over more than a century of experience and know-how in continuous mining systems, we provide the platform for mining companies to boost productivity and maximize profits. Distinct competitive advantages include:
- Complete IPCC product range. With the addition of sizer and roll crusher equipment to our product range, we are now able to integrate our own crushing machines into complete mining solutions
- Mine planning capabilities
- Aftermarket supply and support solutions. We provide extensive aftermarket support options for our IPCC systems, including:
- Performance contracts
- Parts supply
- Assistance with and training for relocating systems
- Mine engineering training to optimize mine design for IPCC
We offer various solutions ranging from a single piece of equipment to integrated systems and complete turnkey projects.

Hi ! Great video, does anybody know if this is radial phasing or lateral phasing ?

Hi, please afford us a few days as we ask our technical team to assist with an answer.

Dear Ant Hux, see below response from one of our technical colleagues: "unfortunately, this is not really defined in this video, first block is shown - still both possible... but: for slewing operation the total slewing angle is restricted to less than 90° because of the head conveyor location - normally a slewing/dumping operation makes sense with slewing angles more than 90° for longer dump life times. I guess the video was created for parallel operation..." Hope that helps, alternatively, please send an e-mail to info@takraf.com and we can further attend to your request.
