Thank you for your helpful video. I've got a question. What if the question was not mentioned that the bearings exert only force reactions, not moment reaction? We would also include moment reactions right? 2 moment reactions for point A, 2 moment reactions for point B, 2 moment reactions for point C, is that true?
I think it may have to do with the number of unknowns listed in the problem without the moments added. This problem has 6 unknowns so it would be impossible to solve for a missing moment from what I understand. However, I'm not sure what would happen if you didn't have 6 unknown forces already... maybe solve them with the moments and see if they have a value or if they come out to be 0?
Any force parallel to, on, or going through an axis can't generate a moment around it, so whichever forces that don't fall under those exceptions will generate moments about those axes.
