The way you spread that grid is not the right way. The more curved the object the grid is projected on is, the more deformations you'll get. Here your grid is fine on the top, but ultra stretched at the bottom. You should have used Tissue Tools.
Hi @Ho kelly . I kept scaling the web and added more steps in the array modifier, I didn't show this step in the video cause I was tweaking the settings for an hour or so,I had to make it short.
