You helped tp inspire me to get in on 3D printing! Can't wait to reach your level someday! Good luck and glad to see your success grow with each vlog post!
Nice tour. But you should take care of the fire hazard. Many boxes are too close to the printers and you have not a single fire extinguisher. There are fire-extinguishing balls out there too, might be a good idea to have some of them?
Hey Dan, Have you found any resource for auto-ejecting pieces using the Bambu? I think this would be great for me to run continuous prints instead of manually reprinting the same job.
Really nice. Noise levels must be insane if every one is printing at the same time. I got my first ever printer 3 weeks ago - an Elegoo Neptune 4 Max - to help with my nephew's girlfriend's cosplay and my hobby. Love it but now I have 4 - 2 Bambu A1s and a regular Neptune 4. The Bambu A1 is amazing. I also pre-ordered the Saturn 4 Ultra resin printer - but resin printing scares me due to the toxicity.
Id like a video of your operational process. So how do you manage all the printers. Do you login to your network remotely and just start prints as orders come in?
This is awesome to see. Would love to know why you went with A1’s vs P1S vs X1C. I currently have 3 X1C’s and I’m not sure if I should buy more X1C’s or P1S’ and now you have me even considering A1’s. Suggestions?
The a1 imo us the best bang for buck. A bit slower than the p series but I only print with PLA so I do not need an enclosure and the ams helps a ton with downtime
My first 2 printers were the X1C and P1P. Just wanted to test them for a little bit before I switched the farm over. I previously had prusa mk3s. I bought a ton of P1P printers before the A1 was announced. But I am starting to get more A1 printers because of the price/value
How´s your ventilation and air quality in that space with so many open frame printers? Also where do you sell your prints? Would love to check em out :)
Honestly need to work on ventilation. Curre try I run 3 hepa filters inside and have fans running all day. But I don't have a way to exhaust the air out. I open the bay door in the mornings when it's cool to circulate the air. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
A buddy of mine owns assuredbiolabs in oak ridge Tennessee the specializes in air quality in the built environment. Shoot them an email and see what they might recommend. Maybe he would even test your air quality for you.
