Ronnie thanks so much for noticing, honestly that one set with the airfield and grain loader is a contender for my favorite I've ever built, I had sooo much fun with these
Unlike the previous two videos, the production value in this one stands out to me since you went out of your way to have miniature film sets included in the video. It really does advertise the product better and lets the viewer and potential customer see how they could use it. I also do wholeheartedly agree that there wasn’t a wide selection of brakevans made available by Learning Curve or even Mattel for the Thomas Wooden Railway toyline. This could even be applied to other pieces of rolling stock such as coaches and freight cars. Especially the latter since all-purpose freight cars such as generic open-wagons weren’t as common as more situational items like the Recycling Cars for example. I hope this works out well enough for you, Lenny. I could really see you having a nice side gig since to this day there are still items that fans of the brand want, but were never made during the lifetime of the Thomas Wooden Railway brand. Hopefully this can be a lucrative opportunity for you to continue to make such great toys of notable craftsmanship.
“Looks like we got competition…” Only joking. These look really cool! You’ve captured the wooden railway style perfectly. I’d love to get one of these for myself when I have the chance.
DAMN Lemmy, you outdid yourself with those sets man, the beautiful sky backdrop, plus the little details like the trees and bushes and the fact that for most of the buildings you use wooden railway destinations is just vibes. Also those break vans look soo good, keep up the good work abd being an inspiration my dear boy!!!
These are sweet! I'm comfortable with my Sodor Line Caboose ATM but these are really sweet and I'd love to buy from you one day Maybe even comission a custom if you ever see yourself doing that
I love the scenery you put together to show these running on the ends of trains. I also like the train James was pulling, a nice variety of rolling stock that all fit together pretty well.
We need a really really long thomas now . Use streamlined emily bogies and a long scruffy body for a 6-6 wheel configuration . From the great race scene . It’s what we all need . And make shure the guy can fit curves
Those are some fine brakevans, wish I could buy one. Doubt I’ll ever have enough money specifically to buy something like this. Lemme preface though that I’m not trying to talk you down, if you put 50 bucks of time and effort in, then by all means, charge 50 bucks. It certainly looks quite high quality, and I’d assume that’s quite a fair price.
BR 20 ton brake vans are the merchandise that Thomas Wooden Railway so rightfully deserved but sadly never got, neither during the Learning Curve era nor the Mattel era. (This also goes for ERTL and Take-Along.)
@@jamesthomas5109 Pretty sure Lemmy knows that they exist, but like I said before Bradford & Bruno were never made for the Wooden Railway line. Ergo he only mentioned the ones that *were* made, that being Toad & the Spiteful Brakevan.
Man, I'd love to buy one of these, but considering that this is $50 USD, that's pretty steep, especially for CAD. Hopefully you'll still be selling these in the future Lemmy, because I'd love to be the owner of some of your marvelous custom work!
Sidenote but about TWR's lack of brake vans, since my AU is partially based on the items that I own, I decided to explain it by having Topham win a lottery with a prize of an unlimited supply of cabeese in the early days of the railway, that's also how Bruno and the Spiteful Caboose got on the island
Also I’m making a custom wooden railway showcase video rn. Could I promote you in it so you can get more attention? It isnt like a sponsor, just a little mention. Because I can really see this custom store work for you.
It’s wood 3D printing, it’s not going to look like plastic. The material is basically saw dust with some glue, and with some sanding it’ll look pretty smooth
Bro, these brakevans are amazing. Hope we can see them with different designs and liveries in future. More variants i think would attract more fans. Maybe bogie brakevans, maybe narrow gauge brakevans, etc. Maybe international brakevans from different countries? 😊 @masterofthelemons
