This time I've gone full vintage :) Always loved the look of the C64 it was time to build a modern keyboard inspired by it!

i like the look of just the primer, makes it look like a really aged true vintage keyboard.

If you wet sand the PLA & paint, the water will keep the work piece cool and keep the grit on the paper from gumming up. I also like how it keeps the dust from getting everywhere and keeps it out of my lungs.

I was more than six minutes into the video when I realized you were playing a C64 SID chiptune. Nice choice.

@@matt3o i second the desire to print this up, the bt65 pcb seems fantastic and is super compatible with tofu style cases, but most other designs i see out there are handwired. love your design man, fantastic project!

unfortunately you can't find them anymore, we had a group buy a few years ago. I'm trying to have them manufactured again but Signature Plastics is terribly slow...

@@matt3o Gotcha, seems a bit too much for my knowledge but do you know if the ender 3 pro or prusa can handle these projects?
@matt3o

@@DanYe_East width is about 330mm... so anything that can print around 350 should do. The new prusaXL for sure, also probably the Ender 5 Plus, anycubic Kobra Max, and many others
