You certainly deserve a subscription. Didn't expect to have enough time to complete 24 minutes video, yet your simple approach made me watch the whole thing. well done.
I've been developing NFC mobile application for more than 10 years now. I think that if we have meet each other before, we would have create a really innovative product together. You should be a very good professor. Congratulations
Great video man, thanks a lot. Nice and clear explaination, interesting subject, great audio and video quality. 10/10 Looking forward to your next video!
Picked up the same tag IC and used some 36 AWG magnet wire and the links provided. Worked like a charm. ST has an app that will let you read/write to the tag as well. Thanks UltraTechie.
Thank you very much for making this video, it is very very helpful! I searched and read some guides in pdf format but your video is much easier to understand. Thanks a lot for your effort!
Hi, great video, but one thing I cannot figure out: your datasheet specified internal capacitance of 50, but you used 25 in the resonant frequency calculator. What is the reason you divide by 2?
Can you share a pencil sketch of the test setup connection for the antenna coil. I have designed an antenna and the tuning is a little of the mark, want to tune it.
Really helpful! Well explained. Is there any tool you would like to suggest for designing a multi-layer PCB coil for the NFC tag? I have been trying to design one for an application with a space constraint. Also, could you also share more about the Multi-directional antenna coil you mentioned? Thanks!
Thank you for this really helpful video! I am wondering how it is possible that the M24SR02-Y is still working at a frequency of 23.5 MHz (15:04) ? The datasheet says that the frequency range ist just between 13.553 and 13.567 MHz (p. 78)?
Goodday ultratechie do you have a tutorial for the 360 nfc ring? I did try to make it but the vertical orientation wont work for me. Any tips or guide would be really helpful. I dismantled 4 of ntag215 and successfully extracted 2 out of 4. Only parallel orientation worked on my newly made coils for the ring i will make.
Good day again ultratechie, what do you call the winding you did to the 360 nfc ring? You coiled it top to bottom 9 slots? How did you make it possible to take the perpendicular orientation when scanning? Hoping for your guidance please.
Ummm. I did it lol. I rewinded my coil a bit wider spacing, not in bulk or same position. Your design is cooler though. Since i got a thiner wire i did have trouble but again as you said the surface area is a must. So wider spacing for my 7 rounds of 0.1mm wire to achieve both sides of the orientation to be detected by nfc scanner, skin effect and proximity related maybe? Thanks again ultratechie.
Hey, hope you can help me, trying to make something using this chip as an Xmas present but I can't seem to expose the tracer, like it's covered in plastic that's tougher than the metal under it, any advice?
so.. i have an idea. im sure you know of nintendo amiibos, yes? they make them so they cannot be used while still in box, so, one way of the other, you need to take a knife to the box to use it. what want to do, is see if i can run a wire(cut like a half inch slit in the back if the amiibo box) and runt he wire from the amiibo base, to the nfc reader device. can this work? thanks.
