I was watching your other Goblin video but had to comment here because comments were disabled for it. How is the 80% helmet in terms of comfort when you wear it since I'm considering printing it at 80% to wear? Also I love your turorials!
thank you for letting me now I fixed the comment section. also its a snug fit for me %80 100 was to baggy but im not sure the size of your head. for sizing you can use a free app called ( Scandy Pro) so you can get a 3d model of your head or scale it using other prints you have used. and thank you it honestly means a lot when you guys tell me you enjoy my work. lmk how it comes out!
@@beezycomics thank you so much I'll definitely use Scandy Pro. I was looking for some specific helmet tutorials and legit nobody had them except you and now I'm slowly gonna watch all your vids. Keep em coming!
yeah so I printed this file at 100% I didn't scale it I was still testing things out. with padding this would definitely fit DO3D does a great job with the sizing
the scale of the helmet. in slicer it docent go by hat size. I can print at 100% meaning the original size of the model. or 80 precent scaling it down to make it smaller
Scaling is probably the hardest thing in 3d printing you tackle just have to work with the dimensions and scale down as you need. The best thing is to get a 3d scan of your head which costs. More reasonably you can try scanty pro the free app or find a helmet that fits and try to work off that scale. Trial & error but once you get it you got it.
I use all Creality printers FDM. if you're looking to make wearable helmets without doing all the cuts the cr10-s or ender 5 pro are good starts. they both have big build surfaces and are easy to set up and maintain
that all depends on the size of your head. for me 95-100 percent for most files fit. this green goblin file however is pretty big. you can use a free app called Scandy Pro . where you can get a 3d stl of your head ti size
@@xxJoeCraftxx yeah that's the challenge. im making another helmet like this because this one was created when I first started. ill have more in-depth on how to slice etc. should be out by next week
