I just discovered this channel 12 hours ago. I printed the Tardis Bobblehead and the skull Bobblehead, ordered 3mm thick magnets, Overture Rockwhite PLA and a USB Pump... You got some nice ideas👍

Loving all those cauldron variants! Of course, smoking cauldron is best cauldron, such atmosphere! (Also, it's a good thing R2D2 is fully a waterproofed droid)

Easy! 3D print a table :)
@mszoomy
@mszoomy Год назад
@@3DPrinty 😆 actually, I have a small octagonal shaped table that would be perfect. It's technically a plant stand but it's solid wood. My late grandfather made it for my also late grandma about a half century ago, literally, I'm tempted to use that but worry about the water on that table as you can imagine
@3DPrinty
@3DPrinty Год назад
Oh, I definitely wouldn't risk that. Even if you are SURE your base is perfectly water tight, I'd be worried about random bumps and spills from everyday accidents.
@mszoomy
@mszoomy Год назад
@@3DPrinty I won't even put a plant on it because I'm afraid of water stains. I don't remember grandma ever having an actual plant on it either and the patina from ages is just so nice I don't want to chance it. My lava lamp calls it home these days.

Some excellent people created multiple water wheels before I got to it: www.printables.com/model/250817 Check the "Remix" and "Derivative" sections on Printables and Thingiverse for more options :)

what is the intro song called and where to find it?
@3DPrinty
@3DPrinty Год назад
Most of the music I use is from Artlist.io The intro music, on the other hand, was custom made for the channel and isn't available anywhere else... yet. I might upload the MP3 somewhere in the future. The song's is "Printy Ditty: Halloween Remix" by Slogra. He also made the original "Printy Ditty" that starts most non-Halloween videos.

how do i print the cauldron that has a pump i don't understand how you would print it without supports and where can i find the screws for the print
@3DPrinty
@3DPrinty Год назад
The cauldron is modeled so that it actually sits entirely on the base - no tricky overhangs that would need supports. The handles are also modeled into the side of the cauldron with a gentle transition between surfaces. For bolts, I recommend buying a generic kit of socket head M3 bolts. They're a very useful size and are available both on Amazon and McMaster-Carr.

Forgive me if this is an oft repeated question, but what type of 3D printer do you use to make such incredibly smooth/clean prints?
@3DPrinty
@3DPrinty Год назад
Someday I'll make a video to answer this question :) Before getting into the printers, I should mention that prints on video typically look cleaner than in person. Not that these look bad - it's just that the camera doesn't pick up everything unless you're in a closeup. What filament you use can be more important that the printer. I stick with filaments I know really well and are very consistent. I also like marble PLAs ( like Duramic PLA+) and sparkle PLAs (Protopasta, Prusament Galaxy Black), which really help hide printing problems. Most of my prints come from three printers: a Prusa MK3, a Prusa MK3s, and a Prusa MK3s+. The oldest of the three has over 20,000 hours of printing time and continues to make prints that look as good as the newer Prusas. For my larger prints, I us a Project R3D Daedalus. I haven't done anything special to the printers, but I do obsess over getting a good first layer and I use slightly cooler printing temperatures when I can. I also try to print only one item at a time because LOTS of printing problems are due to an extruder dancing around the print bed. Finally, I try to design models that aren't all that challenging - short bridges, shallow overhangs, fairly broad bases, etc. I've never gotten supports material to come off as cleanly as I'd like, so I try to avoid it as much as I can. I hope something here was helpful. Thanks for watching!
