A nerf dart isn’t $0.01 and you could absolutely make a better-performing dart out of springy enough material that it wouldn’t hurt. It’d be cheaper but you could start selling them with a slight modification and then profit
You could buy them for cents if you buy big packs of unbranded ones, I'm talking like 3-4 cents each in packs of 300-500 darts, but one cent? That's a bit unrealistic
@@MUONEKY He is a useless engineer who does no real comparisons. Most of his videos to do with 3d printed objects are honestly full of crap. He doesn't seem to understand that 3d printing isn't a wonder tool- it is a amazing manufacturing process but it has only its uses, this guy tries to claim it is better at everything. Kinda like inserting a screw with a hammer, technically possible, but stupid and ignorant. That metaphor describes most of this guy's content.
No, the Elite dart can't win, it's terrible. They are also much more expensive than one cent, about 0.5375 US dollars if I calculated right. Get sum Adventure Force Sureshot darts. They are awesome!
Reasoning: the 3D printed dart is heavier then the real dart. The blaster outputs a high quick blast of air. As most of you know, heavier objects take more force to move then lighter objects. When the real dart is used, it absorb all the force from the blaster and gose faster because it is VERY light. The plastic dart absorbs all of the force from the blaster because it is slightly heavier.
