I really need you guys to make me a set of these! My friend told me about your video (this one) and said these things just have to be so much lighter. So now Im excited to learn about these!
Hi AJ Stone. Unfortunately we do not produce these as we are a supplier for a dental office or lab. If you are happy with the dentist you are working with, we recommend discussing this option with them. If they need assistance connecting with a digital lab who can produce these, you are welcome to send an email to whipmix@whipmix.com and we can work to connect you.
@@AJ_Stone --please let us know how it goes. I am literally desperate to get something DONE as i have heard that 3D cost less---i can't afford even a basic upper.....old upper keep breaking and lower is very bad fit-PAIN
@@WhipMixCorporation correct the lab at my dental office was having trouble making mine the old school way so my dentist had them sent to be digital made so if you want digital dentures it’s a conversation my immediate ones were digital made and I fell in love with them so after many failed wax try ins the dentist said Brandon I’m giving you what’s best and that’s to have your permanent ones digital made the digital impressions are detailed so they have everything they even scanned my immediate dentures that I like into the computer so it will be easier to digital duplicate cause I loved everything about it I just asked my teeth shade to be bumped up to A1
Hello I'm Atim Allen a dental prosthesis student in cameroon 🇨🇲 here we are only learning conventional denture but I'm very interested in digital denture and 3d printer pls I want to learn more.
Thats pretty awesome but one thing I don't understand is Who would pay all that money for new (teeth) dentures that are more yellow than most peoples natural teeth🤔🙄
My first wax try on today for digital printed dentures and they did not fit. Not even close. The bottom rim was way off. They didn't even send wax they sent a finished product. The teeth looked like a snap on cap. Loved the BL 1 shade but the teeth not so much. Even my dentist said they looked as if a kindergartener made them. They are re scanning my rims to try again. I'm still hopeful for a beautiful smile.
I still have my natural teeth not all of them but most but was just told by a dentist that my teeth are in bad shape I would give my right arm to have pretty teeth I keep my teeth as white as I can get them but I’ve always had a gap in the front between the top front and bottom front I want pretty teeth please how much does it cost to get these made please
Hi SusieQ B. Unfortunately we are not a dental practice so we cannot quote you for this type of work. We encourage you to contact your dentist or dentists in your community and ask if they are producing digital dentures.
Hi serjio. You can reline just like a traditional denture- but why not print a new one? And yes you can use printed dentures as an overdenture as well.
With the right equipment and training you could absolutely design your own teeth. There are many steps that take specialized dental equipment prior to, during, and post printing. We recommend that you call around to your local dental practices and discuss options with them to determine whether they are currently providing digitally designed and printed dentures.
To our knowledge, there's not a flexible denture resin. The closest thing is something like Asiga's resin DentaGum. However, it is used for soft tissue simulation not denture basing. You can see all of the resins we sell here: www.whipmix.com/product-overview/?product-cat=3d-print-resins
We use the 3Shape E Series scanners. I believe a Silver Edition E3 was used in this video. Here is some info on the current scanners which are now red: whipmix.com/product-category/cadcam/
Unfortunately, we do not have videos on this. Though repairs and fixing digital dentures is as easy as reprinting the denture and or changing the design with the design software. The same is for realigns. With 3 shape there is a copy denture feature, where you scan in the denture and make changes and re print. I hope this answers your questions. If not feel free to contact our support line to answer any further questions.
@@brycehiller ....is there a name of the denture material (like Flexite, or other 'biocompatible' acrylic based, and can the denture by customized to not use toxins like berrylium for coloring, etc.. And thanks for all you do! and is there a list of u s. denture clinics that do 3d? ☀️
Hello. Unfortunately we are not a distributor in the Philippines. For pricing, please check out the Asiga distributor list here: www.asiga.com/company/partners/
Yes! All the scans you need are done with the intra oral scanner as it should have a bite scan. So, there will be no need to make your own bite registration.
If you only put a few drops of glue instead of gluing the whole area of the bottom of the teeth would't that leave space between the teeth and the plate causing space for food/debris to collect? I would prefer that the teeth and plate be a solidly glued together without any space.
Hi Daniel, To answer your question: Yes and No. Allow me to elaborate. When I refer to a "few drops" of resin, what I'm doing is spreading out those few drops of resin and making sure that there is a small amount of resin in each tooth pocket. It's ok if you get too much. The resin will ooze out of the pockets once you insert the teeth and you can then use a cloth/paper towel to clean off the excess resin. If you were to not spread out those few drops of resin, then yes, you would have areas with voids. The key is to spread out the resin amongst all tooth pockets for the strongest chemical bond. I hope this helps! ~Bryce @ Whip Mix
There's no workflow to add a wire mesh to the denture through the machine. Please reach out to your 3Shape reseller for better guidance on how to resolve this issue.
We are pleased to hear that this was helpful. If you have questions, don't hesitate to reach out. Good luck and congratulations on your continued schooling.
Yes! Many of our customer find that a a post-palatal seal is not necessary due to how true-to-fit a DLP manufactured denture is. I excluded the post-palatal seal because many patients have such so much suction with digital dentures that a postdam makes it too difficult to remove the prosthesis.
I differentiate between " intrinsic undercuts" and "insertion direction undercuts". An Intrinsic undercut is an undercut where a part nearer to the point where the insertion starts is wider than a part further away from the insertion. Intrinsic undercuts exist both in (partial) dentures and crown and bridge work. On the other hand: "Insertion direction undercuts" are rare: They only exist where an insertion direction is FORCED. In full dentures this is NEVER the case, except when making an over denture on parallel posts. Hence I am surprised to see the technician create an "insertion direction undercut" by tilting the model. compare 5:16 to 5:25 ! For the patient it won't make any difference to how he / she inserts the denture. The patient is free to try from any direction bot will find the mos't convenient way. But by creating an insertion direction undercut in the software and subsequently blocking it out the fit of the denture is dramatically and totally unnecessarily compromised!!
Dear Jan-maarten, this video is not designed to teach or instruct on how to identify the path of insertion or blocking out of undercuts. The purpose of this video was to demonstrate the capabilities of 3Shape Denture Design Software, and to highlight the available tooling and functionalities within the design suite. Insertion Direction of a Denture and Denture Undercuts being properly identified and understood within the software and laboratory construct, is another subject and training in itself. Thank you for pointing this out and note that our intentions were not to instruct in a way that would compromise any Dentures functionality, fit or form, within the oral cavity.
Hi samsher ali. We are a distributor in the United States for these products. For US pricing, please email us at whipmix@whipmix.com and a sales rep will reach out to discuss options. If you are not in the United States, you will need to find a distributor in your country.
Can you clarify the question? If you want to know how to attach dentition to these denture bases, you can use the cold cure method. If you are asking how patients can use it in the mouth for the dentures themselves, you will need to use a denture adhesive.
@@jasonsimon1194 Here is a video showing the process. This is shown at approximately 13 minutes. You would use liquid resin to secure the teeth to the tissue. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SBxPUkrYwp0.html

You sure can! In the first step of design (Prepare step), there is a very handy tooth extraction tool that allows you to perform virtual tooth extractions.
