I've tried several printers, but the Prusa is for me the best processed and the Upgerade has taken it to the next level, especially in terms of printing speed.
You know what's cool? The Prusa crew came to my studio and didn't ask me to change a single thing. They filmed with everything in places. The Bambu machine, Sovol machine, Raise3D machine - all of it. They didn't ask me to hide any brands or mention any words I shouldn't mention. It was really cool.
Nice video. Part of the tell that this is a useful video is that several trolls felt like they should spew visceral hate. Keep up the good work Joel and Prusa. Full disclosure, I give money to Prusa and Joel. Why? They do good things!
@@HdbeWydvd way too many things that perhaps should be too obvious to patent are getting patented, and being able to take down entire industries isn't really the goal of the patent system.
Nice Video, But i don't mean to tell you how to run your business , but I do hope you are being paid ( or your being compensated ) for the time you put in for your consultancy services from companies wanting your help to improve their machines
The argument for proprietary software or hardware is quite moot, especially from the perspective of witnessing so many time how industrial companies use open source technology which is incorporated in their products and cover their trail by intellectual property (IP) , patents, and other stuff to protect their market share and their high prices. Quite an internal contradiction in this otherwise pleasant video.
Strictly depending on the license of that open-source technology, owners of commercial rights often do that intentionally. Both worlds have their own rules, my only concern is the fact that you are unable to run such a commercial product after the company shuts down or any similar case because of lack of documentation.
Wait, you mean to tell me the Prusa company sent reps to my business and talked to me about my Prusa printers that I purchased and use for my business? I AM SHOCKED.
Not a fan of this guy. I remember him copping an attitude after he damaged someone else's super expensive printer. Maybe he's popular with kids? So much about him is off putting
He's not, jeez. He's a creator (for a long time) and just started using Prusa printers. He could've also started to like a different brand and then start a farm with those, would you comment the same?
I've watched Joel for over 5 years. This guy has much more non-Prusa content than Prusa content, and he is very open about who sponsors him and who does not. @HowDareYouu is accusing Joel of quid pro quo and shady behavior without evidence, merely based on infantile speculation. I urge them to reconsider, because that's the kind of thing that can destroy reputations. @VincentGroenewold He's been using Prusa printers for a very long time (since the MK2), and his print farm is all Prusa machines partly because they are quite reliable and partly because BambuLab wasn't on the scene yet.
@HowDareYouu he has multiple bambu printers and you seen an SV08 in the video......if he was purely paid by prusa to be a prusa fan he wouldn't have any other printers
Nice one! I remember 2018, where I was more and more intrigued by 3D Printing - mostly by his videos. Got myself an Ultimaker on Xmas eve .. and have been happily printing ever since - meanwhile "upgraded" to a 5th PrusaXL 😉. Keep living the dream! 🫶
