I was very sceptical about this but when it's used properly, it really works. My only concern is the price. Its way too expensive for what it is. I hope this changes in the near future as it's not new technology. Great video ✌️

It's definitely not new tech but it's still uncommon tech. This is honestly really cheap for what it is. At my job we work with multiple 3d scanners (various ATOS scanners) and they all cost upwards of 30k each. At 1k AUD this thing is a steal eventhough the results are worse than professional machines.

Ho lo stesso scanner e per le superfici che non si riescono a scansionare (trasparente, riflettente, ...) funziona molto bene lo shampoo secco, crea un sottile strato granulare, abbastanza uniforme e molto buono per la scansione. In più si può usare su tutti gli oggetti che si possono lavare o sciacquare. L'unica pecca che ho riscontrato è che sporca un po', i granelli di sapone si staccano dal pezzo ma nulla di troppo problematico.

Lavoro in una sala metrologica e utilizzo uno scanner che qualche anno fa è costato circa 100 volte questo. Per opacizzare i pezzi utilizzo ARDROX 9D1B è una "polvere" che non fa spessore e quando si finisce si può lavare via dal pezzo. Se fossimo vicini sarebbe interessante mettere a confronto una tua scansione con una mia dello stesso pezzo...

Non credo sia la stessa cosa 😂 a confronto il mio è un giocattolo. Mai paragonare prodotti professionali con questi oggetti. Comunque è una tecnologia molto costosa ma che sta diventando alla portata di tutti.

Everyone here saying they can’t afford it probably typed that on an iPhone 12 and up. Which btw has a LiDAR sensor and a free app called Polycam that can scan just the same as that creality scanner.

I acquired a CR Lizard scanner. But the scanned parts are not within the precision range of .002 ". which indicates the product .... They have variation of dimensions to .025"  Thank you for any information that might guide me to find a solution

How easy would the software be to learn to use for a complete novice to scanning? I am thinking of getting one, but am stuck between buying this and or a new iPhone to use photogrammetry software.

non è semplice la prima volta, è un programma molto complesso non per la difficoltà nel' utilizzo, ma per ottenere immagini perfette. Dovrai fare molte prove per ottenere oggetti 3d senza imperfezioni. Io ci sono riuscito e per me è stata la prima volta 😂

Accuracy 0.05 mm. Resolution: 0.1-0.2mm.

If it would have a STEP or IGES solid file, it could be a game changer. At least for engineering, this product its a little weak.

You can easily convert obj,stl files to step files without any problem whatsoever.
