Nice. With all the suspense of the music, I was waiting for the jump scare the whole time.

I'm amazed that the subsequent owners didn't just tear the thing down and build something entirely different. I was a kid in the 70's, I remember when it happened and seeing it on the news. Funny how it's "supposed" to be haunted, but apparently the new owners (all of them) have never had an issue. Ronnie Defeo was a monster who annihilated his entire family, period. And we already know Mr. Lutz was into the occult before they ever moved in, as stated by one of their children.

It's a huge, beautiful house! I don't want to imagine the pain & anguish associated w/ the ghosts there; hopefully it is cleared

I would have bought this house when it was for sale. Decorated it exactly like this, turned the attic into the master bedroom and charged people $2000 a night to stay in the regular bedrooms and $5000 a night to rent the attic room.

The music is creepier than the house.

If I could afford buying this house along with the annual property taxes due on it which is high, I would restore it back to the original look including the original address number, and especially the eerie "eye" windows once again. I'm sure people would come from around America and even the world to pay for tours of it which would help pay for the cost of ownership and even a profit. They did that for the infamous Lizzie Borden house which was a smart thing to do. I liked the 3D tour. You know it's interesting. This is an expensive home to own and upkeep, but being built long ago, the master bedroom and baths are quite plain Jane in design and not luxurious like new fancy large homes are today. Newer owners have remodeled the exterior to change the original looks and also changed the address number to lessen some curios tourist lookyloos, and probably remodeled inside as well, so maybe they also changed some of that like the upstairs master bathroom. The trouble with multi-level homes instead of spreading the rooms out on a much larger lot space in a ground level ranch style home, is that you have to go up and down those stairs all the time, even to do the laundry. That's okay when you're young and bodily healthy, but when you eventually become elderly or hurt yourself where you need crutches or even a walker or wheel chair to get around, you'll really hate having those stairs to get around. Sure you save lot space by building upward, but much better to have the entire floor plan spread out on one level. Out west they have plenty of land space and can afford to build large deluxe single level ranch style homes which is much more convenient to live in. A 3D tour of the current house remodeling with comparison to the original exterior/interior look would be interesting too, but I'm sure the current owners want their privacy like the rest of us do. Thanks for sharing!
