In this part 1 of our Siquijor Adventure, we take you on a journey starting from Panglao, Bohol, all the way to the mystical island of Siquijor! 🚤✨
Trip Overview:
We flew from Manila to Panglao, Bohol, then took a bus to Tagbilaran City (85 pesos), followed by a tricycle ride to the port (beware, the correct fare is only 40 pesos!).
We boarded the OceanJet fast craft to Siquijor (800 pesos + 30 pesos terminal fee) for a quick 1-hour and 40-minute ride across the sea.
Day 1 Itinerary: 🏡 Accommodation: We stayed at NB 7Js Pension House in Lazi for just 650 pesos per night-a budget-friendly gem with homey vibes and welcoming owners! Perfect for budget travelers.
🍽 Dinner: We dined at Tea Marah’s Cafe, where they serve sulit meals. Tip: Plan your dinner early, as this is the only restaurant open late (we arrived at 8-9 PM).
🌿 First Stop: Old Enchanted Balete Tree (Fish Spa)
Entrance: 20 pesos
Enjoy a unique fish spa experience with hungry tilapia! Come early for the best experience.

🏰 Lazi Church & Convent:
Explore Siquijor’s rich history with a visit to Lazi Church (free entry) and the Lazi Convent (20 pesos entry). Perfect for photos, especially with the beautiful century-old acacia trees surrounding the area.
🌊 Next Stop: Cambugahay Falls
Entrance: 50 pesos
One of Siquijor’s most stunning falls with 5 levels, a fun swing for 20 pesos, and even a bamboo raft rental for 100 pesos! We had an amazing time here, especially on the swing!
