Crank up the performance in the Solo app and the Solo can rip pretty darned well, another RU-vidr says he's able to pull flips but I haven't seen video of that yet!

It sounds like the 3D Solo might have been a item geared for the commercial market to begin with and I hope they keep supporting them. The price for them are going to flood the consumer market and at this price and I hope they reconsider the quads marketing potential.
Hey John, my opinion is the price is a good deal but it's not dependable. I have other 3dr Products and similar issues until fixes were implemented. M8N GPS Upgrade, WiFi Cards, Alfa antennas, Fix Hdmi Cable for gimbal jello issues, Master Airscrew props, GPS Shield. Now I got mine from B&H photo new not refurbed. So now after putting the above mods into it the thing is a dependable rig. However I hate the go pro period. Its a action camera that's about it. I have had them for years and they always seem to fail me when I actually needed a shot. Anyhow I am contemplating selling mine or possibly putting time into a QX1 camera setup on it. I can't use the go pro much for any commercial use and just for fun well its okay but again the crap part of the whole machine is the camera and gimbal. I guess for the backyard flier its okay but I would atleast change the gps and sheild and yes even if you have the REV B as I did.
have you heard back from them the one i bought suddenly started drifting and then I cant get it to connect to app or the drone. I have sent them an email but havent heard back.
I did the remove smart card and reinstall and my controller worked . thank you. still have some jitter in my gimbal and wondering if the control wire harness has something to do with it. I have done the jell, cable etc and it got better. did not balance my props. just ordered the air screws. should I solder in softer wires for the gimbal control ?
On the controller, I have learned there is an SD card inside. Do some research on that. I believe it may have come out and not making connection, is what the problem may be.
#DR Support still is supporting them. They helped me locate my 3DRSolo when it crashed in the woods. It took five days to find it. Topographical maps are better.
The 3D Relish part is ok but my Gopro hero 4 Black is now not popping out my SD card when I press it in (common problem just google it) so I have to pull it out of the gimbal anyway to fiddle with the gopro using a very small screwdriver to lever out the SD card.
So do you think it actually squished the camera enough to make the slot too tight, or does it just get in the way? Send me your address and I will send you one of my designed parts.
install a small cooling fan inside of the transmitter and have it blowing on the Wi-Fi board to cool the internals off. if you don't install one inside the transmitter you will continue burning out Wi-Fi cards

Hi Cory, Most places that used to sell these, don't anymore. I would just do a google search and see if any internet sources have them. I got mine at Frys Electronics but I'm sure they have sold all inventory.

Hi Gustavo, I only have Apple devices so I can't comment on anything else. The first mod to think about may be the gps unit. Some people put RF foil over the existing gps unit and then a piece of cardboard but I wanted the much better third party gps.
